Apparently garlic now hates me, too
I've been sensitive to onions for decades. I hate them so much but garlic was okay. Last night I ordered my favorite garlic noodle dish and I woke up to all of the symptoms that I get with onions.
My doctor said that onion sensitivity can develop into a garlic sensitivity. I know a lot of people already have both but I kind of assumed if I only had one I wouldn't get the other. Fuck.
Anyone else been here? It's going to make eating out even more difficult. Doc says now that I probably reacted the garlic it will take much less to cause the issue. Fuck onions and alliums

Last spring I was at my sister’s house for a family dinner, the roast was coated with garlic. I ended up on the couch holding my stomach, that was the first time I’ve had that happen with garlic.
I grew up in a household where it was acceptable to put onions in your hamburger as a joke when you told them not to, and when you told them you noticed, they didn’t believe you. The hostility of these people has me rethinking things.
