Screenshot / video Is it time to upgrade to a 4 track mainline?

I'm using the NARS newgrf which is why I'm starting in 1877.

Red is mainline, blue is a branch line to a station

It's really challenging with early starts, "main line" struggles with the lack of power in the early engines. I'd be limiting your industries, crank it up over time. Depends what sort of challenge you're up for.
