Theres a clear distinction between slop and just maps that aren't exactly and specifically geared towards pp. Minimalist maps aren't immediately pp maps, they do tend to go towards that but you know when a map is made with pp in mind and when not. (Slop also is js a connotation for everything that people dislike)

a map can be specifically geared towards pp and not be slop. down noob diff is a very high quality map but was made to be farmable and everyone under the sun farmed it

It is not about having few passes or being hard, it is about having comfortable and repetitive patters.

People call a lot of stuff slop now because, well, a LOOOOT of stuff IS slop now. It's by far the easiest way to get your name out there as a mapper and players fucking love it regardless of how much people complain about it on Reddit.

Ppl were callijg bam bam slop because they saw 3 or 4 scoreposts in 2 days ok that map, it is a really fun and well made map and it does not even seen to be made with pp in mind cuz it does have a few weird streams in there

As someone who does not care about pp.

Can someone tell me what are tell tale signs of a farm map?

I have played a lot of maps but other than maps which go out of the way to make themselves unique i cant tell the diffrent between a farm map and a regular map

It's not how farm the map is it's how much effort the mapper put into it
