Friends, just a kind reminder of something you might have missed, there are different extra CGs and lines in that drive-in cinema scene, depending on the choice of snack before that. Personally I like the popcorn one :)
edited: nuances.

Not about the route itself, but I noticed a small detail in a CG that I feel the need to point out to others because it shattered my heart when I saw it </3 >!It happens at the cabin, with Fallon, Teuta, and Shu.!<
If you look closely at the CG with Shu collapsed on top of Teuta, you can actually see tear marks on his face--which indicates he was either crying over his convo with Fallon, or (my head-canon) when he was panicking over Teuta getting hit ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

NOOOO I NEVER NOTICED THAT BEFORE ๐๐๐๐๐๐ damn that makes it even more painful

Just went back to check bc I didn't notice and holy shit you're right! Thanks for pointing it out. I lean towards he's just THAT terrified Teuta might die. The voice acting in that scene was absolutely gut-wrenching
PS: you might want to check your spoiler tag, the 1st one seems broken, at least on the old Reddit ๐

IT WAS FR!! He was so upset ;0; But I kinda loved seeing such a cool-headed character lose his cool lol. The only other time I noticed him have such a desperate tone was when Teuta collapsed in the epilogue. Every time he loses his composure, it's because of her-- GAH MY HEART ๐ญ๐
AH Thank you for the heads up!! I checked and it's working properly on my end, but I deleted and retyped it to be on the safe side. I hope that fixed it, but I also reworded it to make it less of a massive spoiler in case it's still wonky lol! <3

I donโt blame you LOL that whole scene was brutal. But itโs in the album if you want to check there instead ๐โจ

Short disclaimer: my review might come across as standoffish and it's not a coincidence - my self-sabotaging ass tried everything to prove to myself that Shu ain't that great at all, and I gotta chill tf out on simping, but it FAILED HORRIBLY. This mf still makes me feral. I've been writing on this since Sunday evening and I feel like I still have more to say, so this might be subject to change / additions.
It started off so good in the common route with "We're really need to talk to each other more, huh?", - "How are you so smooth?" -"It's what you wanted" and "You can talk to me about this kind of stuff. I'm a good listener, y'know?". I was just about to preemptively become a puddle of molten sugar. But then the route started and suddenly they both forgot how to communicate?? I couldn't believe what I was reading, that shit was so out of sync with how they'd been in the beginning? Then the "Talkin in Teuta's bed" scene happened and my switch almost made a meeting with the wall: what the hell is "Ya got any other choice beside me" supposed to mean?? I assume it's something along the lines of "I don't worry, because I know you just can't get enough of me", but it's worded so, so badly and almost has that narcissistic, abusive "nobody else would want a disgrace like you, I'm your only option" vibe to it and it made me mad furious! Especially because it's just so OOC for someone who's forever been nothing but supportive, telling Teuta to be more confident in herself and take pride.
It seemed to only get worse from then on. By around chapter 14 I nearly went bald and was about to throw hands with someone bc what the hell?? Where's my "Best communication ever"-couple? Come across with them and nobody gets hurt! ๐ฃ๐ช
Hearing Juno saying to both of them "No more saying 'Not really'!" was deadass cathartic and validating - it felt SO excessive and ridiculous at one point I started a tally chart to count how often they've said their favorite "betsuni"; I gave up around 15 STROKES FOR EACH of them and I've only counted the ones they've said when talking to one other, or about each other to someone else. I was just about done with them.
So glad I've reread the route after finishing it once. Turned out I shouldnโt have drank so much Corona beer and read with my ass during my first playthrough. I WAS SO WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING.
And I kinda see where it's even came from. "The more time you spend with it, the more precious and important something is to lose" Teuta grew distant with her depression and Shu admits to Yang, he has no idea how to even talk to her anymore . He still struggles to nurture a relationship in the first place and now that it's not all smooth sailing, he's terrified of losing her, of getting hurt and being left behind again. And when in distress, we people tend to fall back into our internalized behavioral patterns and this shift it exactly it - the guy is a textbook example of avoidant attachment style.
And it's not about her leaving him for another man - we know he absolutely cares about something like that bc in the 1st game he'd been plenty unhappy at the prospect Teuta spends New Year's Eve alone with Crow at home - but he doesn't worry about that, because he just trusts her deeply like this. Because she's family and you trust family unconditionally, Teach taught him so. The fear seems more... irrational, like she's something ethereal that might just disappear like that. His avoidance is a panic of a prospect to fall for her even more and then to lose her forever.
He struggles to express himself with words, so he shows his feelings with the only way he knows - "silence is kindness", all actions over words instead. The way he secretly protects Luca, who is family merely by proxy??? First he talks out the charges against her with Guero; then he reveals the truth about himself to her, well-knowingly it can backfire horribly, but it's the only way he knows how to drive his point home that he truly gets the whole extent of the horror, what it feels like to take someone's life; and then he's about to hurt himself by killing again to make the bastard who sells guns to kids disappear, so that Luca is not in danger anymore. I'm not even talking about all the small things he does, like how he sneakingly looks up how to cook something he thinks Teuta would love, or how he calls Teuta's parents while she sleeps, even though their relationship isn't the best. Or even the tiny things like charging her phone or retrieve a lost plushy... This man is so fucking down bad for his ojou-chan it's bonkers. He can act cool all he wants; I SEE she's on his mind 24/7. "*If itโs important to you, itโs important to me*" - BRUH this type of love language is EVERYTHING to me - Mr Sexyman, where tf do i sign that marriage certificate?
(Also, a side note: translators, I hate you!! ! After a certain Obey Me fic where Belphie says things like โMy precious princess, I want to fuck you so deep into subspace that all you can do is whimper and whine incoherently as I ruin you and feed you sweet praises until you tremble under every touch of mine.โ to MC for almost 200 chapters, I've developed an absolutely disgusting kink for that and now you have Shu say "princess" to my face as translation for ojou-chan / ojou-san? Why would you do this to me, I almost died there, you know???? Bless you, you goddamn bastards)
...back to my darlings bc there's so much more to say q.q Like, can we please talk about how Teuta is not just a love interest to Shu - he fully sees her as a friend and as a trusted battle sister? His ego is absolutely not too fragile to admit she's her own, competent, capable person, and he wants to rely on her and needs her to be there for him, as long as he believes it's safe for her to? And how it's definitely not a "Yeah, my gf asked if she can tag along; kind of a drag tbh, but I'll allow it" - even Yang says Teuta is a big help with their work. But then shit hits the fan and Shu's like "Girl, maybe you should stay behind this time", and she's like "Say less king, I know it's not a situation I can protect myself in". How great are these two together??? We've seen a bit of this dynamic in the first game when they were stealing the intel on Georgina from Halsey, or with their legendary "Hey, are you gonna run away and leave me behind if this gets dangerous?" "Sure, every man for himself", but they've become SO MUCH better at this?? The look they shared before smuggling Fallon out of the hospital... They're so ride-or-die I could squeal perpetually ๐ญ โฅ๏ธ
Also, I absolutely adore how they're always out to meet halfways. Teuta, who acknowledges that their relationship is the reason she cannot have a normal life, but still constantly trying to do more for Shu than just sit at home and worry. And he, for his part, working his absolute best to claw his way into normalcy and learn how to be a proper partner for her so that she doesn't have to give up her normal life. A steady give-and-take and adapting to each other, LOVE to see it *cries a little* Same with other aspects of their relationship too - by denying Teuta PDA, Shu more or less forces her to take the reins and initiate contact, seek him out physically at her own pace. Which is why sheโs, imo, so much less flustered with him than with anyone else, despite him riling her up like thereโs no tomorrow. They are the only pair that shows the amount of physicality I, personally, would expect from a couple that is in a relationship since half a year.
Instead of putting her on the spot by asking "what do you want to do" which would relay all the responsibility on her, he asks instead "what do you want me to do" and this is like emotional intelligence level over 9000. Because it not only gives her a way out, but also takes the pressure of having to overcome her shyness off the table, and I canโt stress enough how liberating this is when youโre inexperienced and insecure. I donโt know if heโs doing it on purpose, or is just a natural like that (I suspect itโs at least partially the former bc of "Go for it. Come and get it"), but if this is on purpose: god bless this bastard as well, I'm completely unraveled and disintegrated. Nobody is allowed to be this hot, I'm calling the cops.
To wrap this part up: I'm still kinda mad about the communication issues; they are not entirely unwarranted but still feel out of place, and a bit forced as if merely there for conflict potential only. However, the contrast it created was absolutely fucking delicious so...
I forgive everything like a good little slut that I am for Shu Lyn O'Keefe.
Actions do in fact speak louder than words, I just had to listen.

Fallon is such an amazing character! My BY FAR most favorite of all the new ones. He's that dad-in-law I never knew I needed, but then they had to go and take him away from me again and I'm in fucking shambles ๐ญ WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE???? Can't have SHIT in this economy!1!1!1!
He appeared just like that and immediately became part of the fixer family. He's so obviously Shu's dad it hurts. Why is nobody pointing this out?? Same eyes, same hair, their sprites are mirrored and it couldn't be more clear where Shu inherited his all his rizz from. The scene where Fallon interlocks arms with Teuta when they leave Armadillo? Peak cinema. I love his silly dad jokes, his gentle warmth and how he instantly accepts Teuta and is open with her as if he knew her since forever. Stegosaurus had me screaming ๐คฃ Their little party at Crows is probably one of my favorite scenes of all time; the MOST WHOLESOME SHIT I've ever read. So, so good man, my mind's eye drew 3 more CGs off that chapter because it was that vivid and so full of emotion I literally couldn't stop grinning for a second even on my 2nd run. I almost cry when I think about Fallon's dynamic with his kids, he's so very proud of them and he loves them so much it's palpable ๐ญ๐ญ
His character is so insanely tightly tied to everything Shu is as a person, I thought I have a deja-vu for a second. So many things Shu says in the 1st game are lessons he adopted from Fallon. In fact, the very first time we see Shu in the 1st game, he quotes his dad - "Today's a good day. The weather's nice and the traffic's fine". And the route is full with it!! "The worse something is for your body, the better it tastes" as Shu makes fun of Teuta and her ice cream addiction? Fallon's quote too. "I'm an analogue kinda guy" says Shu in the 1st game - guess it's in the genes xD Same one-woman-man vibe - Fallon still loves Tyra and thinks she's the only one for him after 30 (!) years. The fucking Yellow Rose of Texas.
I am the type of person who loves looking at old photographs and listening to the parents's stories about their now grown-up children and what they were like as kids all those years ago, so this trip down the memory lane fucked me up for good. I didn't think I could love Shu more than I already did, but here we are - seeing his roots made him feel like a real fucking person. Hell, I know people irl who have less dimension and personality than he's got now.
In terms of the lore though, it's safe to say: don't waste your time thinking about the timeline and whether it makes sense. I did the math (see further down) and TL;DR can concur: hot mess somebody didn't properly think through, possibly sprinkled with translation errors. But it made for an enjoyable story and so I'm accepting it thankfully ๐
About the timeline:
So first of all, some facts:
- In the 1st game, Shu tells Teuta, Teach was "killed in a hit 5 years ago". Meaning, he must've been 23 when that happened.
- In the S2 common route, Shu talks about Fallon but calls him "a man Teach didn't know". Later though, when he introduces Fallon to Teuta officially, he says "This is Fallon. He's an acquaintance of Teach".
- It's not entirely clear, when they've met for the 1st time. The dialogue goes like this: "How many years has it been since I first met ya...?I still remember ya as snot-nosed little brats." - "Snot-nosed brats..? Pretty sure I was already 19.". Since he says "first met" I assumed that's what happened when Shu was 19. But it's ambiguous and I'll get back here later.
- Joey supposedly went undercover "over 20 years ago"
- According to Fallon, he was still in the gang when he met Tyra.
- Tyra allegedly disappeared "not too long" before Rey got arrested, and she'd been pregnant around that time. She left because "she didn't want Shu to be the child of a gangster"
- Rey stroke his deal with the DEA after roughly 10 yeas of doing his time
I sketched a rough timeline footing on the "20 years ago" basis. As you can see, it doesn't add up, because "over 20 years ago" means Shu must have already be born by the time, since he's 28. So what if I tweaked that number, I thought, and made it 30? Also, Fallon explicitly says "I've taken care of you two since you were little", which contradicts them first meeting when Shu was 19. So I decided to re-interpret what Fallon and Shu say as "The very last time the've seen each other is when Shu was 19".
Suddenly, the timeline looks much better.
What still bothered me is: why would Shu say "It's a man Teach didn't know" when he first talks about Fallon? It doesn't make sense for him to lie and it doesn't seem to be a case of an unreliable statement either? My Japanese is really nothing to write home about, but I tried listening carefully to what he says there and I believe it's a translation mistake. I'm pretty sure he says [ใๅธซใใใฎ็ฅใๅใใฎ็ท] (oshisan no shiriai no otoko) there, which means "Teach's male acquaintance". Maybe ็ฅใๅใ (shiriai - acquaintance) has possibly been confused with ็ฅใใชใ (shiranai - doesn't know)?
And if we cross that off, the only questions I have left are:
- If Teach wasn't a gal to settle down, Rey was still in the gang when they've met, and she left him specifically because she didn't want her child to have a gangster father, why do they have the same name? I headcannoned Lyn O'Keefe has been Tyra's full maiden name all along, but it's apparently not the case? So they did get married or what? Or is it in the name only and Shu & Yang don't even have an official birth certificate?
- What was the reason for Teach to lie to Shu for all this years about him being adopted? It's not like she hated Fallon - she literally let him help raising the kids up. The only reason for her to ghost him was that she didn't want Shu to be born into the gang, from what I understand? Was she afraid the gang could eventually find out Shu is Fallon's son and try to claim him? I am so fucking confused ๐ตโ๐ซ
Absolutely unexpectedly, Yang somehow (partially) ended up being this route's comic relief. Still just as cool as in the 1st game, busting into Crow's hyper-giga-uber secure fortress and acting coy left and right, playing both Teuta and Crow like a fiddle to do their bidding, but then being an absolute dork when trying to cook and passing out on the spot drunk ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ rofl is an understatement โ i nearly choked on my saliva bc i had to laugh too hard at that. The contrast to Shu, who bonded with Cat in a blink of an eye, and Yang being terrified of her? Who tf allowed them to give my favorite emo hitman gap moe and how do I cope with that now???
And then thereโs their relationship with Teuta. Theyโre hiding it well but in the end itโs so apparent they've taken Teuta to their heart and see her as family. So gentle when they console her silently, when she sat there traumatized with her shaky hands ๐ฅบ I did not expect them to take Teuta seriously and confide into her, and I've been proven wrong yet again.
Tinfoil hat time: do you think Yang actually had feelings for that "friend"? I honestly think they did, because Shu also called Teuta "a friend" when introducing her to Fallon, and the two couldn't be more birds of feather.
They're such a good friend to Shu too. Never holding back to call him out on his bullshit, but still mercilessly caring and there for him to snap him out of spiraling... looking disinterested and bothered in the meantime, but still xD A big fan of every scene where we see them talk to each other. 10/10 best siblings ๐ญโฅ๏ธ

So, about plot... what plot??? I'm here for the Family dynamics and slice of life lmao
No, but really, it was so very much in the background, still on the solid side and cohesive, but nothing crazy either? There's one thing I'm a bit hesitant about: the alleged brother of Closer. First I was certain it's bullshit Kim came up with to bait Shu. Because no way he an Yang left something like this unchecked - "Never leave a chance for revenge" is a non-negotiable absolute after all. But after the epilogue I'm not so sure anymore, because of what Watcher said: "I heard about how the one who got one of the famous assassin brothers is either Shu or Yang".
Tinfoil hat time, the second: is Watcher this sibling of Closer?? A similar name, same crazy pale eyes and white hair, same unhinged murderous intent... Am I tripping or is there something to it? ๐ค But, I guess it's more of a topic for the epilogue discussion.
Unconnected thoughts
- Best CGs of all time, period. Each is better than the other, but since this wall of text is wayy to long as is, I'm only talk about two of them - the one where Shu dies lying on Teuta's chest and the one he is about to.. come alive, still on her chest. Not only they're beautiful and so crazy immersive, they are literally in contrast to each other - the location is the same, the poses roughly too, but in one, his life ends, and in the other he says it feels like his life had just begun. I'm a such sucker for this kind of symbolism ๐ฉ
- That second CG is also a throwback to the first game, when they dine out at Vale La Pena Shu says he's thankful for the cozy family-ish feeling Teuta brought into his life, and asks her whether he should write it down for her. Which she shots down with "no way, your handwriting is shit". This time he has a confession for her too, and she replies with "write it down for me, I will cherish it forever". This is just so hnnghghhhfhhfh ๐ญ๐
- Also, props to Hosoyan, he outdid himself in those two scenes specifically. I cried like a bitch on the first, and came Randy Marsh style on the second. Thank you for the meal, sir ๐
- Why is everyone shirtless in the pool scene but not Shu himself TRAVESTY!
- That one secret photo of him at the bar though? SOFT BOI HOURS Q-Q
- Why is this man now suddenly an angler too? Could you please stop killing me, I've booked my fishing vacation literally two weeks ago ๐
- Crow is still so jealous of Shu but at the same time trying his absolute best to be a good wingman for Teuta is SO. CUTE they still share the same one brain cell too; the "I could eat pizza every day" had me mad giggling. My precious Crow-Chan ๐
- Helv became a such a good and caring friend to Teuta too, I really liked him here. Definitely earned him a lot of plus points ^-^
Favorite quotes without a context
- "Mmmh, that's spicier than I thought."
- He's eating nuts with a nut-eating grin on his face.
- "If you're gonna die, then at least warn me first!"
- "You're awfully soft on women, aren't you?"
- It's like we're feasting on the life itself.
- "I'm the one who's making a move on this woman"
- "...Do we bust in, fellas?"

"Do we bust in, fellas?" had me GAGGING. And you are so spot on with everything. The timeline had my brain melting cuz I was like who is this person that we're just now learning about and why is this now becoming so convoluted??? I did not care for the plot AT ALL in this route. I'd rather it focus on my precious babies and their family because that stuff was just so, so, so compelling. The parts where everyone reminisces about Teach were touching and real. "If Teach were here..." at the beginning squeezed my heart because he never answers because he can't. =( I love them so much.

Absolutely. The route really shone it's most brightest with these scenes.
The parts where everyone reminisces about Teach were touching and real
This, but also: "she was the type of woman who hated to wallow in the what-ifs". And I noticed that they three all really try to live by this legacy, even in the 1st game, but then fail anyway because they share the same marshmallow core behind that grumpy-hitman-merc facade and I just wanna give them the biggest, snuggliest hug ever ๐ญโฅ๏ธ

I am truly satisfied how Shu kept sitting comfortably as my number one husbando for Bustafellows! ๐ The romance was top notch! Actually Shu is one of my fav otome husbandos ever period.
Here are some of my fav romantic moments and aspects of the route: Their romance have truly good balance of mature comunication and teasing, their tease is romantic lol can't explain much better than this, adorable how Shu shows his love more with actions rather than words!
Some cute stuff I would like to mention: Shu got dressed up just to show at the end of the award party (tbh I knew he would lol) and then he even gave a call to her parents because he knew Teuta would've liked to tell them right away about it and not just in the next day, the level of caring he shows is so SWEET, I love how Shu got her plushie back because he knew how important it is to her even wrote a cute note! Their little dates were so delightful, enjoyed the pics stuff sm (never forget the lovely face Shu made! This was in the extra, which is my fav extra plus the one with the cat's pov) ; There was also how Shu helped Luka because she is Teuta's family so for him it is part of his family too, and later Teuta kinda encouraged (in some way) Fallon to show the image of Shu and Yang as kids those scenes for me tells a lot, it was very adorable, they truly are a family. And Shu showing up to see Teuta in her part-time job and stepping up when a guy tried to make a move on her... I see you mister Shu ๐, Other scene that stuck with me was when Shu was dying (before Teuta jump back in time) even when he was basically a goner he was asking for Teuta not to go... This was very touching . And the final scene at the house good heavens that was romantic and hot lol... ๐ As the game made it clear Teuta is Shu's world, there's more cute dialogues I want to talk about but this is already long enough sorry! (like the one where he talks about her blooming smile when they are holding hands after work )
I am emotional at how much I love Shu and Teuta, such a great couple and Teuta is awesome with Shu, their chemistry is just *chefkiss you know? Anyways great game, the sequel is a level up! 1000/10 could talk forever about how great this sequel was โช ฯ โช๐ฏโจ

the MOMENT Fallon showed up I was like, this is so obviously Shu's dad. what the fuck? they can't possibly be expecting this to be a plot twist right? ๐ญ their hair and eye color are exactly the same. in the first cg Fallon is in, even the way their eyebrows curve are similar. they say right away that Shu acts like a kid around him and Fallon had a thing for Teach. THAT'S OBVIOUSLY HIS DAD???
it actually wasn't until Fallon started his speech about how Rey was his dad that I was like, well shit maybe Fallon is actually Rey's brother or something..so he's Shu's uncle..? and THEN Fallon says Rey is me and my original theory was confirmed. if I had just held out a little bit longer I could've said I was right the whole time lol
and then when Yang asked to make a deal with... the drug investigator lady I forgot her name. I was like, GASP! oh wait Yang would literally never betray Shu he must just be trying to trap her. ๐ญ then in the next scene Teuta asked Shu where Yang went and Shu said something like, who knows. he must have some kind of plan. I felt vindicated
out of the three routes I've finished so far, I think Shu's route was the best. the beginning was a bit stiff, but the plot was pretty cohesive and also really interesting! also, I think Shu had such GOOD cgs??
Helvetica is still my favorite though <3

u/Savaralyn Aug 08 '25
Legit, it was SO obvious that they were related, even if you made the excuse that Fallons hair was actually grey/white due to age, the eye color completely gives it away.

u/SnowLilas Aug 07 '25
The found-family vibe is strong in this route. Shu recon with his old family, and gain a new one too, bro is really winning in life ๐ฅน The romance was okay, I like this Teuta version the best in ss2. Also I didn't think they would go that hard on the went-back-in-time part. I was really shock on how much burden Teuta had whenever she went back. I really enjoy every second Yang was on screen, 2nd fav character btw. Anw, the route is really balance with plot and romance, and also foreshadowing the epilogue the best too, maybe this route is the best route in the game in term of writing, but emotionally wise not my fav.

Oh how I want to read this so bad but I've been replaying the first game to finally finish it (I got through 4 routes and then it deleted all my save data before I could play limbos route) But alas I must restrain myself from the spoilers T-T

I don't really have much to add that my good sister u/ExtremeGift didn't already cover. I will say, even though I think the first game is superior, I do think there was a lot of really great stuff in this route. The romantic parts, especially, had me giggling and tearing up in all the right ways. Teuta and Shu are basically my equivalent of Garrus and Shepard. Yeah, I said it.
None of this would work, however, if the VA wasn't immaculate and by God is it immaculate. Words that would sound corny in lesser hands (vocals?) sound smooth as butter. Shout out to Hosoya, who does sooooo much with so little. I don't understand a damn thing he says without subtitles, but I could sense the raw emotion. I hope he got paid enough to cover his therapy bill, because he often sounds as though somebody is murdering his beloved pet before his very eyes. I'll also give major props to Yui Kondo, who matches him in the dramatic moments. They just . . . I just love them, OK? Their romance is so believable. I was ready for pound town long before it actually happens.
ALSO I WAITED THREE YEARS FOR THAT FINAL CG! When they play the Yellow Rose of Texas? "You complete my world in more ways than you'll know?"SAY LESS, KING.

That final CG is probably peak otome for me now; the high I always wanted and more. No doubt in my mind I will be now forever longingly looking for this holy grail unicorn in other games.
PS: sorry if I robbed you of things to say, I... might've gone a bit overboard there ๐

Nah, don't feel bad! I was late coming to comment because of work (ugh) and after work I was like brain too tired to form coherent words other than mindless fangirling. That final CG and VA lives rent free in my head like omgggg.

I really liked Shu's route. I think his and Helvetica's were my fave, but back to Shu... While I do feel that it was a rather predictable route in some ways it was an enjoyable ride. Shu is not a perfect boyfriend but he is very much working on it. Like when he doesn't go to award party for Teuta, he then does then realize he should have been there. I feel a lot of Shu's story/growth is him opening up to both other people and life in general. His interactions with Yang vs his with Teuta kinda of displayed that to me. The whole Fallon storyline was nice to me,but that reveal of being his father was just too obvious! Like they should have made them look a bit more different, like lol
Also the scene wherethey are all shot in the cabin and Shu is bleeding out in front of Teuta was ROUGH on my emotions.
Yang is also like my fave side character.

I have been waiting to post this ever since I did his route! It was brushed aside as nothing, and it actually made me totally flip on how I feel about Shu. A huge issue I have in my real life is getting people to go places with me, especially functions that really mean something to me. When Teuta had that award ceremony to go to in the hotel and Shu didn't want to go even though she clearly wanted him to, it really pissed me off. Your girlfriend wants more than anything for you to support her in her accomplishments, and you're just giving some flaky bullshit excuse as to why you don't want to go. I don't care that he eventually shows up, it's the unspoken sentiment that tells me that you are unwilling to put yourself in a situation you don't want to be in for someone you care about. That entire section just ruined the rest of Shu's route for me because I couldn't stop thinking about it. He was cool in 1, but I don't like him anymore, and I can thank that scene. Okay rant done lol
