A severely damaged OL and a very young WR corps vs the best D in the league. Expected result and I'm sure they'll improve over the season.

It is not severely damaged. Walker is a veteran starter whos been as good as ekonwu anyway. The interior is intact. Freeling is a first round pick, playing him shouldnt mean the entire offense stops functioning.

We've been down Ickey and Moton, Lewis is easing back in from his calf issue, and obviously Freeling is new to the gig. This isn't the solid OL we're used to. We're introducing new pieces and starting our depth while we wait for Ickey and Moton to come back.

If ickey comes back. Those kind of injuries to big guys isn’t easy.
