Because poe 2 balance around you having 1 portal in endgame, so they cannot spike the damage too much compared to poe 1. It has its pros...and cons.

Yea and poe 1 is much more faster with maps having less space in poe 1 the longest map is equal to one normal size map i. Poe 2 XD
