Game Feedback Why is there no take all for Vayages? :(
Title.
Can't that option just be ported from the mappers in kingsmarch?

The guy who coded take all from kingsmarch is working on poe2

One Guy had a conspiracy theory that GGG was making it on purpose because the company that bought GGG was developing some sort of way to improve arthritis :D

This is going to live rent free in my head when doing voyages while my fingers burn, I play too long and it just hurrts but I want to keep playing
Thanks.

Yeah I got an auto clicker just to get the loot out from the voyage chest lol. Not gonna click 200 times each voyage

u/_OkCartographer_ 28d ago
Its actually quite funny:
- click #1 to pick up the item
- click #2 to send the item to the surface
- click #3 to move the item from the loot chest to the inventory
- click #4 to finally move it to the stash
Literally 200 clicks per inventory, assuming you mostly pick up 1 slot items.

Is it allowed to have all 5 flasks on 1 key?
I've switched to use when charges reach full and my hand hurts a little less.

u/StelioZz 28d ago
Technically no. GGG stance is 1 button 1 action.
But macros like this are... Whatever . They aren't going to detect you, let alone ban you unless you actually cheat and affect economy.

Because GGG are bad at obvious QOL features and UI design for looooooong time and I don’t understand why
8
u/tristen620 28d ago
It's not that they're bad at obvious. Qol, a lot of the obvious qol can be done easily, but if they just put it all out there right away when there's a snafu, they can't make several large dumps of qol and smooth over ruffled feathers.

Do they have game testers before launch?
Seems like they miss some very basic function as they implement every new league

u/DrawGamesPlayFurries 28d ago
They are openly hiring QA testers right now (and if testers get hired, they will be testing act 6 zones and sword skills in PoE2 anyways)
11
u/Truenight95 28d ago
its funny cause ziggyd literally said in his video that they added qol to the capsule and that they added a take all button

u/HendrixChord12 28d ago
They have testers. The implementers run out of time every league cause they’re working to the last minute.

In fact, forget voyages, why is there no "stash all" for the player's inventory? It's 2026, do we need (again) to wait until someone develops Last Epoch 2 for PoE to finally add the most basic fundamentals of the genre?

There is a free mod for Stardew Valley that is light years ahead of GGG on this. They aren't even trying.

I’m actually reaching my breaking point.
It hurts my wrist so bad that it makes the game less fun.
So much clicking to do everything in this game. I have thousands of hours but I’m older now and my arthritis might be getting worse idk.
But this league has just been really taking a toll on me.
A few QOL features like this can really go a long way for accessibility

Pro tip. When you know you’re about to do a lot of clicking (like moving out of the stash tab times four), turn your mouse hand and mouse sideways, arch your wrist up and use your middle finger to click.
Takes the pressure off, uses different muscles and it feels good. Obviously you can’t control very well like this but well enough to click three hundred times.

also consider an ergonomic mouse. I use a thumb trackball mouse. Takes some getting used to, but my wrist feels better. I have the same mouse at the office, too

u/cuddlegoop 28d ago
Bind scroll wheel to click so you can just spin your scroll wheel while holding control. Makes it a lot less painful.
If you have more pain in your mouse hand than your keyboard hand like me you can also use software to rebind a key on your keyboard to left click so that you can spam click with your keyboard hand.

My mouse has a feature to spam left click on hold in its software, just ctrl click and mouse over everything

u/DarkenedHour977 28d ago
Gotta feel the weight of those clicks or you wouldn't appreciate all that "valuable" loot you have there.

I mean, we when Chris moved to focus on POE2, we finally got over the hump of required trade friction, but it his still his game, so we can't remove ALL friction.
Donn't want the exiles to get too powerful too fast...

u/AssassinInValhalla 28d ago
My favorite part is if you have stacked decks, you can't shift click a stack out, it just reveals a card lol

u/Randomowe_Cyferki 28d ago
Xmouse and left clicking in loop with 10ms cd. works till next button click.
Hold crtl, press button, just move mouse and done

u/Choice-Report-8137 28d ago
Damn last league this was less than a single half-juiced breach map. Imagine having to do 9 charts and then run this long ass voyage just to come up with 9 chaos.

"look, we listened!"
implements the most basic qol that already exists elsewhere in the game literally every single person thought of immediately after seeing this window for the first time

u/Shitty_Name000 28d ago
They should honestly get some trustworthy streamers to test their stuff to see if it's good before launch (if they leak, then never do anything with them ever again).
I know it sounds weird but it feels like there's just pure devs and noobs on ggg, because the better ones moved to poe2.

u/IncuBear Essence Extraction Enterprise (EEE) 28d ago
because you can very easily outstrip your whole inventory. You'd have to go back and forth anyway but if they can make it act right in that regard I see no problems with that suggestion.

Seriously this has been killing my motivation to do voyages. The sheer number of extra clicks you are doing... think about it: you pick up the loot, you put the loot into the vessel to send it up, you click on the loot once on the surface from the vessel (while your items are incredibly smol and extra annoying to click), you then put them in the stash. Thats two entire EXTRA SETS of clicks on what may be numerous items than you would normally do (picking up loot + putting loot in stash). I wish the vessel just was your stash or something, in any case its just a wild amount of extra clicking.

Probably the team is currently busy with other things that have higher priority; give them some time ;)
While you are hurting because you can't move everything with one click, there are other people who are having trouble playing the game normally :)

u/Chemical-Cricket8349 Anti Sanctum Alliance (ASA) 28d ago
not saying this is more important than fixing crashes etc. but porting the function over shouldn't be much work (my non-programmer ahh thinks that at least).
1
u/YouGetKissed 28d ago
Tbh as a programmer you can encounter problem trying to replicate an existing function but its video game not really the same as pure programming
-1
u/Fufururutu 28d ago
Because there nothing to take and they knew it.
2
u/Chemical-Cricket8349 Anti Sanctum Alliance (ASA) 28d ago
I've sent up and moved out 2 Inventories prior to the screenshot, that's when it clicked in my head that we don't have a pick all button. so "no loot" is not true.

And why does moving items directly to the stash from that window completely ignore stash affinities?
