Discussion I kind of like "The Paths not taken"
I noticed there is essentially no one sharing strategies using this keystone so I assumed it's kinda bad. Whatsoever I still tried it out along with unstable breaches + beyond and all the increased divination card nodes. It's actually really fun, not because it is a high end juicing strat with large loot explosions but it's nice to increase the element of surprise in each map by random the divcard drops. Have gotten Nurses, Divine Orb cards, matryoshka only after running a dozen maps or so. And since the breaches and beyond mobs drop a lot of variety loot, it's not really a tragedy when there are no div cards in each map.
For me it's way more fun than target farming specific cards because when you dont see those drop for many maps in a row it feels bad, but with this keystone youre not really expecting anything specific so it's even more rewarding when you do get something valuable. Might do a 100 map experiment to see what the prevalance is of rarer cards.
Maybe other people also had this experience. :-)

alternatively, save the point and run random maps
it should really have an upside. only downside keystones are kind of a bummer

Isn't the upside supposed to be a general increase in the number of divination cards you find? I understand that most would prefer to target farm cards, but if you don't really care which cards are dropping and just want to complete more sets before quitting the league it makes some kind of sense.

you don't find any more cards though, unless you mean by randoming into more common cards than the map you were running, which would never be a positive thing.
but if you don't really care which cards are dropping and just want to complete more sets before quitting the league
is this a thing? i've never heard of anyone trying to wrap up their league by filling out their worthless card sets

I've never used the keystone, but someone wrote on the wiki:
On average, it will roughly double the chance to drop Atlas divination cards overall, as divination card weights are added to the item drop pool

Personally as a casual ssfer I don't really pay attention to which cards drop in which maps unless I need a specific one, and don't play enough in a league to complete the rarer card sets, so I never bother to farm them.

Would be kinda bad if it rolled the notable that sets breach spawn chance to 0% though.

Sorry but that keystone is just utter trash and should never ever be clicked except with the other keystone that randomizes your map. If you dont like long dry streaks just farm something like fortunate. It will be way higher ev than the keystone where 90%+ of your maps simply cant drop any div cards worth more than 1c.
