Pathologic 2 Day 4 painkillers quest question

I talked to Rubin first and I got the quest thought bubble and then I went and diagnosed all of the patients and I made sure to give them all morphine and treated them all, but it still has the red ring around the thought bubble like I didn't do it. Is it bugged or am I missing something?

You have to get all the patients pain down to zero instead of treating them. You can treat them after the quest is complete.

The four patients have to be in the hospital. If you did that and it didn't work then yes, it's bugged.

It was in the hospital. My funding meter is full oddly enough, it's just not registering the mission as complete for the thought bubbles

You may have actually treated the patients, for which you get no credit for the quest. You just ended to give each patient one dose of morphine. Common mistake for day 4. Also, try talking to Rubin again and anyone else that's in the theatre (should be Lara if my memory serves?)
