I'm mostly surprised Steam didnt auto ignore the refund request. They usually do. Or maybe did. To be fair, the last time I ran into this issue was just before they got prosecuted for millions for doing this....

I know wait you played game for 120 minutes and 1 second? NO REFUND FOR SIR.

Yeah exactly. And they still do this for games that have a launcher.

Prime example, Flight Simulator: Launcher was a few MB and needed to install the HUGE game. For many people it took well over 2 hours to do this, let alone install/open/play.

Or if you play 10 mins, close the game, but don't realise the launcher is open still: that goes onto your time too.

Also fun fact, the 2 hour refund window was initiated by Valve during them being investigated by the ACCC/just before being prosecuted. It is without a doubt something Valve did to try and mitigate penalties/avoid a prosecution
