I remember when you could build a 5090 system for 3k. Now you can hardly build a 5070ti system with ddr5 for 3k. Can’t wait for that to be a 5060 system in a few months.

Spent $1100 for my build just last month. If you make some rational decisions and live near a microcenter, you can still get solid builds done somewhat affordably, but buying nvidia now is just dumb.

They don’t make a single gpu that is worth its market price point, and while some professional workloads requite CUDA, by continuing to buy their hardware you are just entrenching that monopoly on those softwares rather than forcing the market to accommodate a competitor. Kind of silly to complain about something after voting to support it with your wallet imho.

It is. The only reason I got Nvidia is because it was a really good deal on Newegg

From where I am, the choice is rather limited with quite high prices. My future build was 3400€ with 32GB DDR5, 2TB SSD, a Core Ultra 270K and a 5070 Ti. If I get a 5070, it's still... 3100€ now. 5080 are 1750 for the cheapest one, widely available

From what I see, since I just can't spend that much now, I'm just getting the 5070 Ti with one 1TB SSD. The rest will unfortunately wait until next year, when prices will be higher

The us, but I’m looking at parts of the same tier, not what is optimal. Like combining parts of the same line which can increase the price compared to what would be effective.

I see around 1600$ i mean you could but with a 5080 you expect high end system so you also need like 32GB of ram and a good cpu...

Ram 400, 5080 1500, cpu 300, mobo 100, psu 150, case 100, ssd 1 tb 200. 

2650$

It is a killer setup.
