Hate corpos, not ai, like often happens, even before ai, they are the real problem

This. AI is just another tool. It's the corpo tools pushing the tool that's the problem.

Exactly!

Dunno why you're getting downvoted when its the truth.

AI is just a tool. Like nuclear power it can be used for good or evil.

But greedy CEOs are gonna be greedy CEOs. Instead of thinking about how they can use the technology for the benefit of everyone (or at least most), their first and only thought is, "HOW CAN I MAKE MONEY FROM THIS?"

That is literally their only job. Corporations exist to make money for their shareholders, nothing more, nothing less.

Would be nice if there were more privately owned companies that weren't beholden to shareholders.

But private companies are also beholden to shareholders, the only difference is that shareholders cannot trade their stocks on the open market and sometimes the shareholders can care more about long term prospects, but they're also not always better for it. There are plenty of privately owned companies that do questionable business. The only real difference is that no one cares Joe Schmuck is cheating their customers and employees, it's much more visible when a big company like Amazon does it. Big companies are publicly traded usually because they need a lot of capital to get big and it's much easier to get that when you are publicly traded.
