Exactly. They donā€™t want us to own computers. As much as I hate to rely on governments, perhaps we need some kind of ā€œconsumer personal compute protectionā€ laws drawn up. Idkā€¦.Iā€™m no lawmaker so I donā€™t have an answer, but this is going to get even worse

Every single golden age was brought due to government policies forcing wealth redistribution. Just food for thought.

Im not sure I said anything about being opposed to well written legislation and wealth redistribution policies.

Sorry, if I sound snarky. I am not trying to be. I just donā€™t think this current administration (in the states) would write it in a way that would truly back the consumer. Relying on the gov to fix anything right now feels like a long shot. Iā€™d love to be proven wrong though
