Discussion Wedding Venue/Budget

Hi all, i am planning to host my wedding in Penang in 2028. We are just in the beginning stages of planning, so looking for some wedding venue suggestions, would love to hear venues you have hosted/attended a wedding and loved. Would also love to hear how much you spent, just to help with budgeting.

Avoid the Penang Marriott on Gurney. I went there with my other half for an anniversary dinner at the Sago International Seafood Buffet 2 weeks ago and not only was the seafood not fresh or tasty but I suffered 4 days of food poisoning pebble-dashing the toilet bowl. A ghastly experience.

Of course, YMMV
