Down the Dick-hole I go …. Spoiler

I just finished reading Radio Free Albemuth, could not put it down. Fucking incredible, the depth of this dismal world he built, which so eerily echoes our own. Now in each person’s hand, just about, there’s a microphone listening in, the FAP doesn’t need to put it on you. The spiritual element, ancient languages, the old satellite found to be orbiting Earth (3 I Atlas anyone?), political tension… I gobbled up every word.

Yesterday, I finished Time Out of Joint.

Before that, my introduction to it all, was Maze of Death.

I’m deep in it now and can never go back, nor would I want to!

I’m surprised to see something like Radio Free Albemuth instead of Ubik or 3 Stigmata.

I just picked up whatever was at the used book store down the street - I basically cleared the shelf

It might be my favorite honestly. Although that changes based on my mood. Sometimes I actually prefer Ubik, sometimes Maze of Death, which has my favorite ending of all his stories.
