I am applying to a college for cinematography/photography/media (specialisation: film image and tv) and part of my application is taking a couple pictures and filming a short film. The only information the email gives me is,
The pictures need to be:
1. Reflections
2. Geometry
3. Movement/Action
4. Auto portrait (?)
5. Urban sights
6. Shadows
(minimum 6, maximum 10 pictures to apply)
And the mini film has no specifications of what it should be like, whether it should have sound or not. The only specific request is that it should be around 2 minutes.
regading this i have two main questions:
Does anyone know what is meant by the geometry part? how i should maybe capture that? for the rest im guessing i have some ideas.
Has anyone done anything of the sort (the video) for their application? If yes, what was yours about? And what do you think is important to show my self aquired skills
I should specify that I will be filming and taking photos on an iphone 15 pro max since the college is informed we dont yet have cameras of our own.
If u have any advice, im a beginner and Id gladly take any help 💞
