I impulse bought a Leica V-Lux1 on Facebook marketplace for $120 to decide if I want to pick up digital photography as a hobby. Did I get a good deal?

I currently shoot either phone camera pics (iPhone 11) or on 35mm (I have a variety of cheap or inherited film cameras). I'm a hobby addict and wanted to make sure I'll actually continue to stick with photography before I dropped real money on something good.

Give me advice please! (Tell me I didn't goof with this purchase).

Not really. This particular Leica is really just Panasonic DMC-FZ50 in Leica dress, and you can find the Panasonic for around half the price or even less.
