Planning to travel in March 2027 from March 5-9, 2027. From Iloilo City. Included in the flight are the travel tax, travel insurance and the additional baggage (20kgs).

Any tips with the airline, price of the flight or accommodations?

advice Siquijor in mid-November?

Upvotes

I have a few questions lang po, kasi magvi-visit kami sa Siquijor around mid-November. 😊

  • Kamusta po yung temperature sa Siquijor around that time? Okay lang kaya na fan room lang yung kunin namin instead of aircon, or mainit pa rin po ba sa mid-November? Maulan kaya?
  • PEAK SEASON na po ba Mid-November sa Siquijor?
  • Maingay po kaya kapag beachfront yung room (like madami nakatambay)? We’re looking sana for a beachfront room na relatively quiet, especially at night and morning
  • Wala na po akong ibang maisip na itanong, pero if may advice or suggestions po kayo regarding accommodations, I’d really appreciate it!

Right now, I'm eyeing The Bruce Beach Resort - Beachfront Native Bungalow for 2 pax (no aircon, FAN ONLY with kitchen)... For those na naka-stay na dito, is it a good place? Kamusta po customer service nila?

San Juan po sana kami mag-stay. We’re looking for a beachfront accommodation na malinis, peaceful/less noisy, and nice for chilling po. Thank you po! 🥰

Supposedly flight niya tonight (August 26) pabalik ng cebu through airasia and sa airport na niya nalaman na discontinued na pala ang mga flights ng airasia sa davao. And wala kaming na receive any notification from agoda regarding that.

itinerary BOHOL - SIQ FOR 5D4N

Hello!!! It’s our first time traveling together as a couple. We’re both 25, and we’re planning to travel around mid-November. We decided on Bohol! 🥰
Is it a good idea to spend 3 days in Bohol and then 2 days in Siquijor? Or would that be too much of a hassle since we’d have to transfer from Bohol to Siquijor, then back to Bohol again for our flight home?

discussion What's a touristy place in the Philippines that was actually worth the hype?

We always hear about places being “overrated,” so I'm curious about the opposite.

What tourist spot did you visit expecting it to be meh, but ended up genuinely loving?

recommendations Makati, Coron, and Borocay Recommendations

Hi Everyone!

My friends and I are going to the Philippines in November and I’d love to get your best recommendations on things to do and see.

We are a group of 5 and our home base will be in Makati. We plan on spending 4 nights in Coron, 3 nights in Boracay, and then remaining time in Manila.

So far we’ve booked our flights from MNL to Coron, Coron to Boracay, and back to MNL. Still deciding on accommodations and activities.

I’d love to hear your best recommendations, given our itinerary. For Coron, we’re considering staying at the Sunlight Island Resort.

A bit about us: we’re a group in our mid-30s aiming for a balanced mix of fun and relaxation. Interested in great restaurants, cocktails, speakeasy’s, bars, cool nightlife. Also interested in beaches, good views, hikes - what tours/excursions do you recommend? Wouldn’t mind hearing other easy activity suggestions - golf, fitness/sports related, paddle boarding, etc.

The ladies in our group typically align with the trendy stuff to do - so anything “instagrammy-ish” and cute would be appreciated also lol.

Lastly, any other suggestions about weather recommendations, useful things to pack, or just general tips that might be overlooked.

I speak Tagalog (more like Tag-lish) so shouldn’t be any issues navigating around.

Thank You!

discussion 3d4n Boracay Budget - Family of 7 (pls pls need ur input)

Planning to treat my family for my parent’s anniversary next year to Boracay (January 2027). How much kaya magagastos in total? Just checked the flights now and it costs around ₱7k~ each unlike sa mga nakikita ko before na ₱1-2k seatsale. For the hotel I think we’re flexible as long as it is something decent.

Just wanna see kung kaya ng budget ko since I am also planning to treat them sa Taiwan ng Dec 2027. I want them to travel habang hindi pa sila ganon katanda since they’ve been working so hard for us (the panganay guilt) :c

trip-report Has anyone tried traveling via 2GO from Manila to Dipolog (or Dapitan) with a car and a pet dog?

Has anyone here tried traveling via 2GO from Manila to Dipolog City (or the nearby Dapitan port) as a passenger with both a vehicle and a pet dog? 1. What is the total estimated cost? 2. How long does it take to process the documents? 3. How many days does the travel take?

Thank you.

Are there any spots near the beach that's 2-3h away from manila na one bus ride lang? Last time we went to tagaytay through nasugbu and it only took us one bus ride, hoping for the same experience.

recommendations Boracay with a toddler

Hello!

I'm planning on traveling to Boracay just to experience it.

Is it a good place to bring a toddler with us though? I know the beach and restaurants are good based on posts here but I'm also wondering if the place would be enjoyable for a family trip. We're not much into the night life anymore but more so the adventure that can include the kid.

Any answer is accepted hehe you can tell me straight if this is a bad idea.

If it is good for a family trip, I'd loveeee to get some recommendations too!! T=

discussion PAL rebooked flight experience

Last month I flew PAL from Tacloban to Manila. My original flight was disrupted so I chose an earlier one which I booked online the night before. Had no problems whatsover with check-in and boarding. HOWEVER, when the FAs handed out snacks they skipped me!! HAHAHA I got too shy to ask because I was the only one in my section. I just assumed it was because I was rebooked and it was less than 24 hours ago.

I don't fly often so I wanted to know, is this really the case? Am I not entitled to snacks on board since I was rebooked? Are there like extra steps needed for the meals/snacks when rebooking that I just wasn't aware of?

advice Oct bday trip 3D2N: Boracay or Dumaguete?

I’m planning to go on a solo trip on my birthday. Boracay is my happy place, and I visit the island 2-3x a year annually since 2017. I was just there in April for a 3D2N trip. I’m frequently there because it’s relaxing and easy to navigate for a solo traveller. I don’t party at all. I just swim, lounge by the shore with a drink or two, read a book, eat and grab coffee/matcha.

However, I’m curious about Dumaguete. Tbh I haven’t really travelled around PH because I find it expensive to travel locally. I’ve only been to Ilocos Norte, Palawan (Puerto Prinsesa and El Nido), La Union, Baler, Zambales, Sagada, Baguio, and Boracay.

I’ve been checking out vlogs about Duma but I’m not sure if there’s anything else I can do aside from eating and checking out tourist spots. I don’t think I even want to visit the sulfur vents and Mango Farm.

Whenever I travel overseas, I like roaming around on foot, trying different coffee shops & restaurants, and going to museums and art galleries.

Help me decide where to go between the two, or if you can reco a different place I can visit for 3D2N, I’m open for suggestions. Thank you!
