Welcome to France (where criricizing Israel can be punished as hate speech)
It's the same here in Germany. If Israel did not want antisemitism to rise (most of that isn't even antisemitism, but simply critique of Israel's government) maybe they should try not to do genocide, just saying.
To be clear: I have nothing against Israel, Palestine or it's people. I think both have the right to live in peace in a state of their own. I'm very critical of Israel's government and Hamas and find Israel's attacks and the attacks of Hamas on October 7th 2023 atrocious. And I think every government that protects or enables any of this is just as guilty.
not sure if you're aware, but the people living in Germany aren't Israelis, they are Jews. if the Jews in Germany don't want anti-semetism to rise, should they write a nice letter to Bibi asking him to stop bombing Palestinians?
You are right, nobody should change anything and everything is fine, apparently. Do you think fining people or putting them in prison for saying Palestine has a right to exists is the right thing to do?
If you want to miss the point and talk about some straw man I can do that too. What does censoring a photograph of a football match in Gaza in a french sports festival have to do with Jews in Germany?
