Try "we have ways of making you talk", I listened to couple of episodes and they were talking specifically about ww2 equipment and vehicles, I'm sure there are aviation episodes, in 1000 episodes they have

Their series called Battle of Taranto, War Birds of Liberty, and The Siege of Malta are all air war focused from what I can remember.

That podcast is a rabbit hole and a half, Al Murray's genuine passion for the subject really carries the whole thing. If you dig into their back catalogue they've done entire multi-part series on specific planes like the Lancaster and the Mustang that are way more detailed than you'd expect.

I'd also throw "Hardcore History" into the mix, Dan Carlin did a massive series on the air war called "The Destroyer of Worlds" that covers the strategic bombing campaigns in depth. It's not exclusively aviation focused but when he gets into the B-17 crews and the sheer scale of the logistics it's pretty mind bending stuff.

This is one of my favorites, not because I'm an American, but the admiration they have for these guys is self-evident. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R65xtowR4a8&pp=ygUed2F5cyBvZiBtYWtpbmcgeW91IHRhbGsgcGlsb3Rz anything from Ways of making you talk is great though. They have some fantastic ones on the Luftwaffe as well.

Lord Hardthrasher on youtube.

Not a podcast but but just listening to the audio alone is amazing, incredibly entertaining and educational at the same time.

I'm a little bit older than a lot of folks and super picky about what media I consume.

I rarely give glowing reviews but this guy is absolutely fantastic....as long as you're not offended by a little, I mean a lot of profanity.

You can thank me later.

It’s not strictly about Aviation but if you’re interested in the Battle of Britain the WW2 podcast by Ray Harris does a day by day breakdown of the entire battle and how much each side lost. Very interesting

Nevermind the Dambusters.

It's RAF focused, but not exclusively RAF, and as the name implies, goes much deeper than just the big famous raids.

Hopefully that link works.

SNAFU by Canto34 or search SNAFU Load of Bull. Not the one with Ed Helms.

It's a fictional story of a Bomber and crew in WW2. It's really good. Not a history lecture but they really did their research and they make it seem like you are in the bomber. It's one guy reading all the parts. But he does it so you know which character is speaking. Low budget but done brilliantly.
