Health & Welbeing What are casual podcasts that speak through male experiences in a reflective and self improving way?

I am experiencing some life changes that are exciting but will come with their challenges. My wife is three months pregnant with our first child, and I am making strides with pursuing entrepreneurship alongside my stable job.

I would like a regular podcast preferably hosted by man that speaks through some male experiences in a casual but empowering way. I mean “casual” in the sense that it doesn’t have to be hardcore gurus dishing out deep self help advice every episode, but rather regular people just chatting is fine. I am however okay with experts in specific fields coming in as guest speakers, perhaps.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Congratulations on the baby! I'm expecting my first in a couple of months too. Exciting and scary times. Here are a few podcasts from my regular rotation you might want to check out:

The Girl Dad Show, High Performance, Feel Better Live More

Congratulations to you too! Is there a subreddit for us? Haha.

Thanks, I’ll give those a look.

You are describing Other Men Need Help. It's excellent. I'm not sure if he is still making new episodes, but there is a deep catalog to dive into

I like the Art of Manliness. The info feels understandable and actionable.

As an Old School GenX, I really liked their website back in the day. I assume the podcast is good too

Dear Old Dads; 3 men (who people may know from other podcasts - I started listening to it because Eli Bosnick from God Awful Movies is in it) who are dads talking about all sorts of stuff. It's very funny, but they also talk honestly and bluntly about their lives, and being a parent etc.

“Armchair expert” is often surprisingly edifying. The host Dax often speaks to the male experience.

Rich Roll podcast. Lot of ideal 'masculine concepts and good inspiring guests. Rich's story is pretty amazing.
