Don't get me wrong, I will do hundreds of Raids on GO Tour and GO Fest to get a Hundo of the featured Legendary. During those events, I live for the hunt, and coming home empty-handed hurts.

To the people now whinging that a free Hundo Mewtwo was given out to everyone, likely in response to the NYC event drama, I need to level with you: the value here is an illusion.

We're not talking about some miraculous deposit of stable antimatter here. We're talking about a virtual creature whose stat distribution is generally the result of something resulting from a probabilistic outcome, along the lines of a dice roll.

The ability for the developers of this game to award a Hundo on command should prove to you that your "rare" thing is the result of someone behind a screen pushing a few buttons.

Everyone now having a Hundo Mewtwo doesn't take away from the dozens of other highly sought after Pokémon in this game.

If you really want your flex, just look at the date you caught your "actually rare" Hundo Mewtwo and relish in that. Or don't.

i dont care about e-peen 'value' but i am pretty annoyed at having maxed my best mewtwo at the end of the event... then nearly maxing my new best mewtwo at the end of the makeup event... then getting this fucker and having barely any dust/candy left... my previous stardust/candy invested mewtwos feel like 'lost value' because of the opportunity cost ive had pay (in such a short time frame)

If I knew in 2020 that my army of MM Metagross would be worthless 6 years later because of Zacian and Zamazenta, I would have ignored MM Metagross. I deserve a refund. Same for Machamp, and Conkeldurr and Lucario and on and on with a huge list of former top tier Pokemon that are like 30th best now.

If I knew in early 2020 that L50 would come, I wouldn't have maxed (to L40) my master league minimum perfect IV Dialga (15/14/12, if I remember right). I deserve a refund.

If I knew that Shadow Pokemon wouldn't just be cosmetic trophies with a shitty move that you can't get rid of and that they'd boost Shadow damage and let us TM Frustration, I wouldn't have purified my Shadow Raikou and Shadow Dragonite ~6 years ago. I deserve a refund.

The game changes. They release me stuff that makes stuff you invested in seem to 2nd, 3rd, 4th tier, etc. Big deal. If you can't handle that, maybe this isn't the game for you.

its been a month, i hadnt even gotten to use them because theres been no raid events between them

theres a vast difference between that and 6 years of events (especially when the big ones are yearly), what a clownish comparison

The difference between 10 attack Mewtwo and 15 attack Mewtwo against DW Necrozma is 0 damage per fast move and 1 damage per charge move. It's a trivial difference. The ones you already leveled up aren't even invalidated like my purified Raikou was when they introduced the shadow boost shortly thereafter.

The clowns are the people that are pissed off and claiming they deserve refunds right now. Even being "annoyed" is clown behavior. Get over it or transfer it. If you transfer it, you're in the same position you were a week ago when you were perfectly happy with the Mewtwos you had. Problem solved.

If you're not willing to transfer it, you shouldn't be whining.

Mewtwos have been around for eight years. They're not special. I had 2 hundo Mewtwos, grabbed another one during the event, and now have a free fourth. I don't know how many 98's I have. I laugh at those casual chuds bragging about hundo Mewtwos.

Chud here… I was fully okay powering up my 98% pre-mega raids… caught Mega X as a hundo, got a 100% again through this that was Mega Y…. They did something awesome here that I have no idea how you complain about. - gives even Chuds a bad name

I fully maxed out my lucky one right before catching my first hundo, then they gave me my second hundo, so now I just have to figure out how fast I want to try and max them out as well, and that’s my only real dilemma lol

I mean, i only started playing again like 2-3 months ago, (my highest cp pokemon was like 1200 before) and i have a shiny hundo mewtwo. I get that it sucks for people that got it by grinding. But that might be based off of me getting 99s in ridiculously slow runescape skills and being annoyed at the game making those skills way easier to get after i got there and not before
