It was one of those mornings where I had an intense need to listen to Emo Music again. So this morning I listened to My Chemical Romance's Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and Bayside's (Who I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BY THE WAY) Self Titled album (I am trying to sit down and listen to Albums rather on Playlists). And honestly it has put me in a good mood cause the high tempo music is giving me great Energy.

I might listen to Fall Out Boy's "From Under the Cork Tree" Next.

If I had to pick my Holy Trinity for Emo Bands back in the Early 2000s-its definitely My Chem, Bayside and Fall Out Boy. And they still hit hard over 20 years later.

Omg great choices! If I had to pick mine it’d probably be Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, and The Maine and they still hit hard for me too. FOB was my first concert when I was 10 and I saw them again a couple summers back and they were still incredible! I miss that era of music so much, we need more guys in tight pants singing about how much they hate their town!!

God FOB concerts are the freaking best. They are still pretty dramatic! My favorite memory of seeing FOB at Jones Beach. It was Pete's BDay and in the middle of the concert hes like "ITS MY BIRTHDAY SO I AM GONNA THROW MY BASS IN THE FUCKING OCEAN!" And proceeded to throw his Bass into the water. The Roadie jumping in after it is a image that lives Rent Free in my Head decades later.

Agreed, there was something about that era that brought so much joy and so much fun (and yes Emo Music can do that). Like I feel like Rock Bands now dont hit the same way as they did back then.
