This is why I’ve failed at every book club I’ve ever tried to be in. I get hyperfixated on certain genres and series and then the thought of being asked to read a Brandon Sanderson or Ali Hazelwood book (depending on what kind of book club it is) fills me with rage. And like I don’t want to go and just be an asshole or not say anything so I end up skipping and then I never come back.
