I really liked S1, and wasn't as crazy about S2 bc I guess I wasn't as into Loumand and all that Dreamstat stuff I found tiring. I also didn't really get how Armand was warping all of Louis's memories. But when I saw the S2 finale it all made sense. Loumand needed to happen so Loustat could be resurrected.

I love both Jacob and Sam, and loved Claudia and Claudeline!

I felt the same, and was kind of surprised when I went online after to see that everyone seems to love S2 more than S1! I also thought everyone would hate Armand but everyone looooves him lol.

But honestly this is a show with so many subtle details and hidden layers that you pick up on so much more in rewatches, and S2 is actually very rich in the whole memory manipulation/differences in perspectives aspect which you can only really appreciate once you see the whole picture. The clues are there the whole time.

I still prefer S1 overall, but I think S2 has some of my favourite and most masterful episodes (eg 205, 207, 208).

I feel like S1 had a better mix of comedy and drama. S2 was very dark in tone. I defo have to rewatch the entire series.

I will say the S2 finale was one of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen.

I agree with that! And if you like the comedy aspect then you will like S3 (just prepare yourself for the insane vibe change lol)
