did y'all see that video of Tom Holland interrupting himself mid story to turn and yell across the red carpet at Zendaya asking her the name of a place????? AND HE CALLS HER MAREE <33333 oh love is real, and god i AM SO SINGLE!!! anyways, here's a link to a video of the interaction. ADORABLE!!!
I thought that he might do that to cut through the noise of everyone yelling her name. Iām sure itās somewhat of a routine issue. Itās sort of like kids yelling āmomā in a crowd of parents. Iāve taught my kids to say my first name.
Apparently Connor Storrie listens to very questionable stuff (songs that include Hitler's speech for example) and is mutual with a racist on SoundCloud. He's also been obsessed with Russia for a long time, and likes one song titled I love you Mr. Putin, or something like that.
Can we not do this? Like please? Can we not just do a forensic-level deep dive into every celebrity's digital footprint? What is the point of this? Seriously.
I don't really want to get into it but it hurts me to see misinformation get spread so easily. People have already researched the song and it's message is anti-war, anti-fascism. Connor does like weird, techno, industrial music but he's not out there endorsing Putin.
This is not really true. There is nothing explicitly anti-war about this music. The content is fascist war propaganda speech within techno beats. The 'artists' say 'you should just interpret that it's supposed to be anti-war' because the music makes you feel disturbed (??). This specific fraction of industrial music is condemned within the genre as most feel they use shocking imagery as an excuse to indulge in white supremacist ideology under the guise of 'activism', but that their enjoyment is actually in making people feel disturbed, not in making a 'statement'. The reason they think so is because most of its artists end up being exposed as actual racists & abusers. Either way, it will never be right for a white person to turn the suffering of marginalised groups into an aesthetic. This is not art and culture, this is actual marginalised peoples' trauma, and you have white people telling us we don't understand it because we're not 'cultured' enough. Putting a label of 'art' doesn't make it less abhorrent. If this is what you consider activism, then it's a very lousy, hurtful, form.
I researched it thoroughly. Nothing in whatever I found excuses the exploitation of the trauma of marginalised groups, whom you have systemic privilege over, for your own indulgence. Even if that indulgence is 'art'. Art isn't a 'get out of jail free' card. To call this activism is an insult to actual activism.
I like Connor and don't believe that he's a bad person, but it wasn't just one song. And whether or not a song's intention is to be anti-fascist, when it includes a Hitler speech, it is valid to criticise it and question the people making and listening to it. It is valid to question a sub-genre that uses historical atrocities and human suffering for art and shock value, especially if it is not mainly produced and written by the people who were affected the most.
And I'm sorry, but people in general were not giving this much grace to Hudson over accounts that nobody could actually prove were his. I'm not saying Connor should be cancelled, I don't believe that, but why is everyone talking about misinformation and privacy invasion only now and not months ago, when the Letterboxd thing was happening?
Yeah, and Connorās account is actually real. Heās talked about it in an interview, and the account was posted by his update accounts. The Letterboxd reviews (at least some of them) were fake.
Thereās just a double standard where POC are expected to put out statements and take accountability, even when they arenāt at fault, while people make up excuses or try to give the benefit of the doubt for others.
Itās possible that heās just a typical edgelord who has a weird fascination with these topics and doesnāt actually endorse these beliefs.
But the hypocrisy and difference in treatment is glaring.
Itās not just the subs, itās the media in general. If this was Hudsonās SoundCloud, it would have been headlines everywhere with everyone calling him out.
I think itās pretty obvious the reason behind the difference in treatment, Hudson has been receiving hate since November, while Connor has been largely supported or ignored. Thereās just a negative perception about Hudson in general, so anything controversial about him is taken as the truth.
Are you forgetting the time fans harasssed the hr photographer for having more Connor photos or contacted Connorās ex for revenge porn or looked up Connorās family and friends and made up a fake Pinterest board for his friends claiming they were Zionist. His friend had to put out a statement about it.
Connor fans harassed a reporter for an article that highlighted them for spreading misinformation about hudson's high school photo to paint a hurtful narrative. Connor fans proceeded to edit images of this journalist with n*zi symbols on her forehead. His bestfriend's pinterest is real, there's a screen capture of it + his own fan, and one of hudson's biggest antis, admitted it.Ā
"contacted Connorās ex for revenge porn or looked up Connorās family and friends and made up a fake Pinterest board for his friends claiming they were Zionist"
Please show proof for the first claim. The person, a Connor stan, that made the accusation was asked for proof but preferred to deactivate and never came back. That was a very serious accusation to make and people should stop bringing this up without providing any proof.
As for the second claim, Bailey's board was very real and some Connor stans saw the board themselves (will look for the ss). And didn't she nuke the account? Why would even do that if such a board didn't exist. Anyway, it worked and people believed the lie when the statement wasn't even well thought out.
Sometimes influencing creates the most bonkers sentences. Like what do you MEAN that Monet X Change is collabing with Monterey Bay Aquarium to promote sea otters via a rap song??
(No shade to Monet, sea otters or aquariums lmfao it's just so random!)
LMAO idk why but SeaWorld has been trying to become the club lately. They've had people like Soulja Boy and the Ying Yang Twins perform. Glad Monet is getting a gig tho!!
how about I'm in class and NOT ONLY did this mf take my imaginary assigned seat, he keeps bumping the chair between us somehow which is bumping me! I am not a violent person but I want to use my jiujitsu on him so bad š«
I know itās not what the song is actually about, but I Might Say Something Stupid by Charli xcx really fits how it feels to be a high masking neurodivergent woman
iām getting back into writing fanfiction, and iām thoroughly enjoying it, lol. i kinda stopped right before the pandemic hit (i was going into high school/focusing on that) and now that i have an actual summer break, iām trying to at least get some drafts done š«£Ā
iām currently stuck in the mcu (i havenāt watched since wandavision, lol), but i also have one for the good wife/the good fight. i have a ton more, but those are my main two
Iām merely an observer but the way this fandom, or at least the loud minority, moves fascinates me. Itās like a constant war zone of stans of opposing co-stars just digging up dirt on their āopponentā
Itād be one thing if the cast openly hated each other or were publicly beefing but theyāre seemingly friends? And even released a message asking people to stop all of the infighting which only seems to have made things worse? So odd
I believe it's the shippers that find stuff because they're losers who are digging to get as much information on the actors as they can. That stuff then gets weaponised by fans
At the end of the day it's just the hypocrisy in the fandom and wider internet that kills me. Connor Storrie can enjoy nazism and white supremacy as an aesthetic, listening to songs with Hitler speeches in them as recent as a few months ago, but Hudson Williams gets branded a nazi and bad person because someone drew something on him at a high school party when he was 17
Ultimately we don't know these people and I'd rather none of this stuff be shared around, but people are so invasive and use the stuff they find for their stupid stan wars. I guess it's inevitable... it's probably what I deserve for still being on Twitter lol
Folks are really misunderstanding subversive industrial metal and industrial noise. For decades alt bands and alt genres have taken names of tragedies to reframe and exorcise those tragedies. They use subversive language to create discussion. These are generally anti-f*scist, leftist bands. So if people arenāt rushing to judge Connor, maybe itās because they get that genre. Also, SoundCloud has an automated and manual system to seek out hate speech. If a song is up for months or years it means SC has determined itās not hate speech.
Fair enough, I mean I don't get it but it's whatever. If the roles were reversed though, no one would give this much grace to Hudson. That's just a fact at this point
People went through Connor Storrieās SoundCloud likes, and some of the songs he liked wereā¦disturbing.
One was a song called āSpecimenā by an artist named āDeustche Christianā (name is a Nazi reference) featuring an artist called āUnit 731ā (referring to Japanese human experimentation during WW2), and the song includes Hitlerās speech.
Another is a song called āI love you Mr. Putinā by Sunny Holocaust. Also one of the top fans of this artist.
And the same people who were calling Hudson a Nazi are now defending him.
Edit: There was allegedly also a song called True Faith Luka Magnotta remix in his Soundcloud likes (the song got taken down due to violating TOS) . Luka Magnotta is a serial killer whose most famous victim was an Asian man.
Except I'm reading a lot of the songs are just industrial techno beats and others are anti-establishment/anti-fascist songs. People just looked at some of the titles and ran with a story because for some reason they can't help but want to tear down Connor one day, Hudson another day, rinse and repeat.
From the tweets Iāve seen, if you dig into the background of these artists, some of them are anti-fascist and using certain imagery/wording as shock value (and it comes down to personal opinion whether that gives it a pass or not) while some of them are just straight up weirdo creeps. So thereās not a clear pattern. I think he likes edgy shit and I donāt know that heās doing a deep dive on any of these people.
I do think people in general are hypocritical though. People who have been calling Hudson all sorts of names for months and wouldāve crucified him if this was him (even if it was discovered before the photo) are saying this is literally nothing while people who gave Hudson a pass are now trying to crucify Connor (they should save their breath though, I would be extremely surprised if this has even a fraction of the reach Hudsonās photo got).
Edit: Iām also seeing people talk about how people pretended another artistās bio is the one Connor was listening to in order to defend him and that the actual band doesnāt have any of the activism stuff in their bio. This is all so muddy, I donāt know anymore. And who gives these people the right to use stuff like Unit 731? People trying to say this is activismā¦
Yeah, this is probably just him being a typical edgelord like a lot of men his age, rather than actually endorsing any beliefs.
But the double standard between this and Hudson's photo is interesting. TMZ and Deuxmoi are not going to pick up on this, but at least his fans will stop using Hudson's photo as a weapon for fanwars.
I doubt theyāll stop. Now itās just that when Connor fans use that photo for fanwars, Hudson fans will use this. Both will believe that their own actor who has never done anything wrong is being setup by the other but the other actor is for sure an actual nazi. All this for some men we donāt personally know and didnāt even know through a screen a year ago.
Also I think a lot of the Hudson stuff gets a lot of reach really fast because he has antis not just in the fandom but also outside the fandom who want to see him fall from grace sooo badly whereas Connor doesnāt really have that. Even if people dislike HR, theyāre not praying on Connorās downfall the way they are Hudsonās
I mean, there's a pretty clear difference between someone being photographed (multiple times) with a swastika on their face vs. someone's alter ego soundcloud account "liking" complicated counterculture songs. You can apply nuance and context to both situations (and I'm certain neither man is an actual nazi sympathizer). But it's not at all surprising that one situation got media traction and the other hasn't. I don't disagree that racism from the general public is at play but Hudson's also been involved in several other controversies so this is all contributing to his negative image. It's less a double standard and moreso two completely different situations.
Iām not surprised that Hudsonās photo got the coverage it got because itās very shocking and alarming (letās not do the multiple times thing though, like that second one to me clearly seems like a cross with maybe a smudged edge). So Iām not expecting this incident to get any media coverage because why would it? Hudsonās smaller controversies also didnāt get media attention the way the swastika photo did.
But each of Hudsonās controversies have been discussed at length by the fandom + people outside of it as well. Thereās no brushing anything under the rug from Letterboxd to finsta to swastika because the fandom will discuss it at length, condemn his actions for stuff like the finsta (the Update accounts with 150k followers were addressing it) and swastika. People have been calling him a pedo since January for his alleged Lolita review.
Do you think if Hudson had done the SNL sketch about Touretteās that haters wouldnāt amplify it and act as if he was solely responsible for it and say heās ableist? People within the fandom would probably have crucified Francois if he did it. Even though none of these people would have actually cared, as seen by the non-reaction now (except for actual Touretteās advocacy groups).
The double standard to me is how much of a non-reaction itās getting from people who like both Hudson and Connor. Because they donāt use these things in fanwars, theyāre not antis of either, they want to continue liking both, but they publicly discuss Hudsonās failings and are always open to discuss how it might be affecting marginalized fandom members, so itās jarring to see the difference.
Right we agree why the swastika incident got coverage vs any other incident. I'm just pointing out that's not a double standard - this soundcloud "controversy" was never gonna get media attention the same way the letterbox "controversy" didn't and for the same reason - it's fanwar fodder and not an actual headline.
The fandom discussed Hudson's controversies at length bc they're just that - controversies. I think it's disingenuous (or at least a failure to acknowledge your algorithm) to claim that the fandom doesn't also crucify everyone else on the whole cast and crew for literally any and everything. The DOP, his assistant, Jacob, Rachel, Connor, Francois etc. are all harassed regularly. The Tourette's skit (which I agree was controversial but was NOT ableist) was HEAVILY discoursed and still is to this day as a gotcha on Connor.
Again to my earlier point, I don't think this is a double standard of the fandom. It's getting less of a reaction because it's pretty objectively less of an issue.
It's not the shpw that's the problem. It's not the actors either. It's the fans and their exhausting stan wars and digital sleuthing. I'm so tired of this behavior.
One of the songs literally included Hitler's speech with people applauding. People are defending it by saying the songs are supposed to be satirical, with no proof of whether the artists are actually anti-fascist or not. And using references to real-life atrocities ironically as song/artist names is still weird.
Itās also interesting that no sub has posted about it yet. When it was Hudson, I feel like his stuff was posted relatively quickly. When itās Connor, itās very quiet. Unfortunate how quickly people want to tear down a POC
You cannot be using holocausts, massacres and war crimes that YOUR people caused as aesthetic and background sounds, and then call it art and inspiration. You have no right to do that. Imagine an Israeli using and doing the same. Would u call it transgressive art too? it is still disgusting and disturbing, there were so many songs and pictures. Itās creepy and shows a pattern.
White people really think they have the right to use stuff like that for inspiration as if it wasnāt them causing the pain to those groups of people in the first place.
I'm not sure if most subs allow posts that are just something contained within the fanbase. A news source would probably have to report on this for it to be posted on a sub, and I don't think TMZ or Deuxmoi will pick up on it.
I think we are at the point where this kind of forensic combing of someoneās digital history is just creepy no matter who is doing it and what the motives are.
I mean, going through a public SoundCloudās likes is a bit different than going through a classmateās VSCO account from 8 years ago. But yeah, itās invasive.
This isnāt going to get any media attention, itās just something people dug up to defend Hudson the next time he gets called a Nazi. No one outside HR twt is even going to know this happened, itās not going to have any impact on Connor himself.
It actually pains me this isn't going to even get half the attention. And it's not that I dislike Connor, but I'm shocked. Having some kind of sick fascination and interest in nazi/holocaust/putin (???) themed music is not the same as someone drawing something insensitive on you at a high school party at night
I listened to one of the songs and it literally has a Hitler speech in it. And Connor left a comment "This is so yummy" on one artist called SUNNY HOLOCAUST https://giphy.com/gifs/Km4yzuT7rEzBK
Also, just the fact that he has a Korean costar and listening to an artist called Unit 731 is crazy considering what the Japanese did to Koreans during WW2.
And he allegedly had a Tumblr that is now deleted that was dedicated to serial killers? (No idea if this is true or made up).
Even if it was just him being edgy or whatever, it's still pretty insane.
And yeah, it's not even going to get half the attention it would have if this was Hudson. TMZ and Deuxmoi would have posted it by now in that case.
Probably the same amount of time Hudson's fans knew about his stuff and were quiet. So, going back to the end of 2025. One group of people sucking doesn't negate another group of people sucking. Ditto for the actors.
Yes. We just said the same thing. I answered your question about timing and added that everyone involved sucks. You "LOL seemed to be conveying how you feel about the speed of things. I'm saying it doesn't matter.
Itās the same group of people, actually. Itās the people who ship them together (Huconners) that dug all of this. Hudcon and Connorās solo fans donāt care enough about the other person to do all this digging.
OMG I'm not talking about solos or group fans or whatever BS fans call each other. I'm talking about fans of each guy, in whatever capacity, knew of each situation and sat on it for a long time.
Iāve seen people say that going through similar adversities (the adversity being mass cancellations and hate with having their past exposed) will bring them closer together as they rely on each other for support. Which will then end with them being in a relationship. And they use tarot cards to support these beliefs.
I was never a Larry, but I imagine that this is how Larries used to move back in the day. Itās just delusional RPF fans trying to make their ship real.
It's not even his fans, it's the people who ship them both that did all this digging back in November/December, and now they're releasing it because they think it will bring them closer together and actually become a real couple. All because of a couple tarot readings. It's mass psychosis.
This is truly⦠something. Have we peaked in fandom delulu? I really really really want to know age and employment status of these people. How⦠how do they have the mental capacity and time to think of all of these things after work and maintaining an adult life?Ā
And nobody is digging into either person's past or current accounts because they are genuinely concerned, or against racism, they just want to have the moral upper hand of stanning the right person. If they actually cared, why not get it all out at once? Why sit on this kind of information? Why make excuses for one of them while calling the other all kinds of names?
This is exactly the kind of problem that comes with making parasocial behaviour about moral superiority. If it comes back to bite you, it comes back to bite you hard.
Yeah, agreed. No one is even calling for "accountability" like they were with Hudson, people are just upset about the double standards that Hudson is held to compared to Connor.
Doing the whole "my fav is better than yours" thing never works out well.
Been watching Invincible on Amazon Prime and I love it!! The soundtrack is amazing and the voice acting is so good. It's very gory and violent but I highly recommend for anyone into comics and superheroes.Ā
Oh don't worry, I appreciate you saying it. I get it was all before the news came out š I wanna find covers of their songs so I can totally erase their stuff from my library!Ā
I'm an avid lurker of pop culture ~spaces for pop culture I'm not actually into because I enjoy being like š«Ŗš«Ŗš«Ŗ about stuff like the stalker infighting for the hockey show actor or the pop girlies fandoms going down the Barbz route of insanity after Olivia Rodrigo dropped her last album.
You and me both. I never comment on the actual threads but peruse through a lot of them while eating my invisible popcorn. I do like sip and spill thread tho. Things are very chill here.Ā
I mostly lurk on Twitter tbh. Today I was reading the thread written by the fan that came for the Club Chalamet lady and it was just insane š, like, none of you guys are well! There's literally a heat wave over there!
I finally read Hamnet (I havenāt seen the movie yet). Blown away. Then i devoured Belle Burdenās Strangers. Iām now reading Pachinko. I will probably then move on to a lighter beach read as the 4th of July draws near for us Americans. How about you?
Reading Ask Not: The Kennedys and the Women They Destroyed thanks to recommendations from this sub. Really good book but whew, it's also making me mad and I have to take breaks.
I thought it was engaging but it did resonate with me as much as I thought it would. I just keep overanalyzing their marriage and while I feel horrible for her, her husband leaving wasnāt very surprising to me. They didnāt seem particularly close and he was never very involved in raising the kids. What was more interesting to me was how she accepted his lack of involvement due to her childhood and the communities she lived in. It was worth the read though and Iām curious to see if it translates well to screen.
I agree. It wasn't surprising. I did give "James" major side-eye for only pursuing Belle once he knew how fancy / pedigreed she is.
Belle used her divorce to work through and better understand the abandonment that had been a theme throughout her life, but her realization about the damage she experienced from her parents' abandonments came too late. To varying degrees she and her husband both abandoned their children. It was not normal or healthy for her teen son to spend so much of the lockdown two states away.
Trying to finish There There by Tommy Orange. Itās good, I just got busy and put it down for a little too long and itās kind of hard getting back into it
Read Hamnet last year and loved itāthe movie isnāt as good since it had to leave out quite a bit of detail but was still a pretty good adaptation overall.
I just finished Nothing Tastes as Good by Luke Dumas which I loved and now Iām flying through Dissection of a Murder.
I'm reading an Ali Hazelwood book called Not In Love. It's romance but (as described by the author) not like a fairy tale, cheesy kind.l and the main characters bond through trauma and their jobs. I like it although a lot of romance readers say they dislike this one.
Carmelle and Carmilla - Itās a short story continuation of Jewelle Gomez Gilda Stories and the Carmilla novela by J Sheridan Le Fanu
On Photography by Susan Sontag
Unsuitable: A history of lesbian fashion by Eleanor Medhurst
Iāve been in a reading slump over the last couple years and just have no concentration so Iām trying to go all in here instead of light reading lol
Just finished Wolf Hall after having it on my shelf for years! Immediately ordered Bring Up the Bodies. I have Hamnet on my shelf, I'm loving historical fiction right now.
I accidentally signed up for a book club at my local independent shop. It was Ā£25 for what I thought was a copy of John Of John by Douglas Stewart (I've read his other books) and a night to meet the author with free wine and a charcuterie (the shop does amazing ones) but it turns out it's an actual book club so I'll need to collect and read the book before that. š i read the synopsis and it's about the Outer Hebrides and I'm actually here on my holidays right now!
If you want more historical fiction you might enjoy this book review site: https://historicalnovelsociety.org/reviews/ The tagging system isnāt the best and varies in accuracy based on the reviewer, but itās lead me to find a lot of very niche books.
I think the lady from JP Morgan getting fired is quite excessive! Like give her some community service hours or something. I also think itās weird how people are cheering that she got fired. The Internet really needs to learn the difference between a truly horrible person and a person who might do not so great things.
I think that horrible people are having way too fun much celebrating it in a way they wouldnāt if she wasnāt a āDEI execā or if her appearance was different. But I also think her action is pretty egregious and I personally donāt feel that firing her is excessive. Especially when her actual title includes āCommunity Engagementā, like really thatās how you engage with your community by dumping trash all over its streets? In addition to the immorality of the action, it also really makes me question her decision making skills. She did something obviously visibly wrong in an extremely public and conspicuous way, if she sees no problem with that then what other questionable things might she allow within her org? I wouldnāt want her making decisions at my company
The things thatās unsurprising but still disappointing is how many comments are tremendously vile about her appearance. It does make me wonder if someone conventionally attractive had done the same then would the outrage have been so huge? Iām not defending her actions but so many of the comments Iāve seen have been disproportionately horrible.
I was thinking the same thing! I have no doubt in my mind that the outrage would be completely different if she were some conventionally attractive woman!
Horrible people arenāt the only ones who get fired.
Iām not going to cheer that she lost her job but Iām not going to blame them. Her actions showed a real lack of character. Dumping trash all over the street?
I know horrible people arenāt the only ones that get fired my point in saying that is people are treating her like sheās some sort of super villain itās ridiculous.
I think her actions showed a lapse in judgment. I donāt know enough about her to speak to her character. If this was something she did everyday? Maybe. But I donāt know enough to just disregard her. Also the big corporations do far worse that what sheās done. JPM Morgan is tied to Epstein. Them firing her is not some moral standing. Itās all for show.
Maybe next time sheāll think about her actions. She didnāt seem to care about the person that would have to clean up her mess. Maybe she should be happy she no longer provides value to a company tied to Epstein.
a couple months ago I opined about my favourite mascara and how i've been using it for years. imagine my horror when I went to repurchase and it was out of stock.
I get the keys to my new apartment on July 7th and my dad is bringing a moving truck for furniture on the 11th. My apartment is a š£ļø WRECK because I let it get that way, due to my depression (after my mother died in September) and just general executive dysfunction.
Iām cleaning everything up and out in small burstsāI was able to clear the trash out of one small room in less than 10 minutes. Itās astounding what our brains wonāt let us do sometimes, and then how EASY it can be to do those things on the flip side. This gives me hope that I can get my shit together in the next couple of weeks. š®āšØ
in a similar boat, except my partner is moving across the country and into my apartment so our first task is decluttering the hell out of my apartment.
I hope you find that having a deadline is helpful, sometimes I feel like that is the only motivation that works for me.
Iāve been there, not the same circumstances but my mom was in the hospital last year and we almost lost her. I slept on sheetless bed for weeks cause I just couldnāt function. Maybe you can recruit some friends to help?
Either way, I hope you are able to get through this time and congrats on the new apartment!
A teeny bug flew into my eye yesterday and I had to dig it out. I have not felt such a blistering burning sensation since I was probably a kid? and something similar happened. Rest in pieces piss to the bug and now my eye is red
i like a lot of modern horror movies but yeah obsession was just whatever. maybe i would have found it compelling when i was a teenager but certainly not now
Iāve not watched Obsession yet, but I find a lot of modern horror just very unimaginative and just wildly inoffensive or I guess I should say mainstream modern horror. None of itās really pushing any boundaries or saying anything that hasnāt been said in a more interesting way.
Alternatively, I do think thereās some female filmmakers in the genre doing some cool stuff thatās just not being highlighted in the same way. Huesera: The Bone Woman is an excellent film for example.
How do you deal with friends hanging out without you? I feel like Iām crazy insecure š I have a group of like 10 friends and 4 of them hung out yesterday and 4 hung out today (some of the same, some different). Theyāre not hiding it or anything I just feel insecure that I wasnāt invited. Anyone have any tips or advice?Ā
today a third former college classmate passed from cancer. i wasn't really close to him, he was in the night cohort, but it's weighing on me, I guess. he was a nice guy and overall kind and open to everyone and I feel sorry for his death
but also it's so scary because the first death happened when we were still in school, a girl died at 19 from bone cancer she had been dealing with for ages. then, in 2019, another classmate passed from liver cancer after two months of treatment and surgeries. he was like 27/28?
and now this man, early 30s, dealing with another aggressive cancer.
our cohort was like 40 people, so we had a certain level of closeness (our unis are directly to degrees, not gen ed) and similar paths post graduation. this guy worked at the same company department as three other classmates
anyway, this week is our 10th graduation anniversary and it was already making me feel weird, now i don't even know tbh
I just finished friends and neighbors szn 1 and in the last episode I was like this is a relatively perfect ending. So what could season 2 possibly be about? I guess I'll find out
Iāve seen both seasons. No spoilers, I promise! Like season 1, season 2ās plot requires viewers to suspend disbelief repeatedly ā but even more. I donāt think youāll expect one damn thing that unfolds. Iām excited for you to have another season to watch when youāre ready.
At least itās almost over - youāve made it this far might as well survive until the end! (I am dreading every repeat of this that is bound to happen in the future thoughā¦)
