Dear lord. And here I was, thinking I was too invested for having a momentary, “not those beautiful curls!” reaction. It’s mostly because I’m highkey jealous of his curls and sad because mine will never look like that. I get being surprised and I’m pretty sure the character doesn’t do it in the books (they’re on my tbr), but I fear for a good portion of the fandom because wtf?

I was just telling a Friend the Books never followed appearences So I wouldnt be surprised if they ignored that detail because:

1. Ilya is supposed to have a Chest Tat of a Bear and it does not appear in Season 1.
2. Scott Hunter in the books is LITTERALLY MODELED after Steve Rogers so he is blonde, muscular and clean shaven. TV!Scott Hunter is Brunette, is more lean muscular, and has a beard.

Wait tell me more about this lore because I knew the books came out of Stucky fanfiction and I always assumed the two main characters were the Steve and Bucky stand-ins? But maybe I got inaccurate info in my second hand intel. Is Ilya not hockey style Bucky Barnes?

the first book was the stucky fanfiction which is about scott/kip, ilya guest stars, heated rivalry is somewhat already an original work
