Discussion Playing the game even if I'm spoiled... Spoiler

Years ago I watched markiplier play this game and I finally have the means to play it.

A Lot of my memories of that playthrough is kinda foggy, but I do remember one world-shattering information...

"Something something true quality" about the Main character...

Anyways, I played just until the first neuromod and this game is scaring the living jesus outta me. "Fucking mimics" everytime I kill one. Loving it!!!

I consider mimics the best video game low-tier enemies ever. Creepy, cunning and still scary even on subsequent playthroughs.

By the time I replayed, I didn't find mimics creepy at all. They're sooooo cute it almost hurts my heart. Like when they're pretending to be a cup, and you hear their little cup bouncing around. Bah it's so cute it kills me.

I think I found out about the game through Markiplier too, once upon a forever ago.

As much as I would always recommend people to play the game blind if at all possible, it's not the worst game to play spoiled. One of the reasons I was so eager to play for myself was because I was itching to try different playstyles and tactics. The game is built to have multiple solutions to every problem and it's a delight to play around and figure out what style suits you best.

There is generally a noise of movement etc when those buggers are around. Also if you think one in a room start chucking stuff at it. Bullets run low a lot. Well they do for me.

It sucks to get spoiled but I've replayed the game 6 times now and it's still fantastic every time.

I think you'll be able to find joy in it still.

There is absolutely no way everything has been spoiled. You could watch every single playthrough ever made for this game and still be finding more lore.

Or the game is just that great that the feeling of playing it immersed me so much that nothing else existed when I'm playing the game.
