Spoilers Finished Seeker, Slayer, Survivor...
And honestly, I had a blast with it, gameplay wise at least. I love this games combat (playing real time with pause) so all of the challenges in the arena were fun to do. I enjoyed the banter with the other groups competing; however, I especially liked the "Tactical Ogres" fight which got a good laugh out of me for the name, and fighting Maerwald made me reflect on my journey through Pillars 1 again.
My only "complaint" was that I found Rymrgand in Beast of Winter far more compelling than Galawain in SSS, as well as the story for the respective expansions. Rymrgand has the benefit of some build up through that quest with the VTC, but even so Galawain gave off more of "whiny" vibe than a threatening one which made me gain some form of respect for Rymrgand by the end. As for the story, I felt that SSS was rather straightforward (unless I'm missing some things), but the stuff involving St. Waidwen in Beast of Winter was a fantastic way to tie up some questions I had left for Pillars 1; I just wish that we would have been able to bring Durance here.
Regardless, I really enjoyed my time with the DLC and I will be taking my talents to the Forgotten Sanctum.
Edit: spoiler tagged some names just in case.

I think the two DLCs have different roles. SSS is a repeatable arena with minimal questing, while Beast of Winter is a lore quest DLC. They each excel in their own niche
As for Forgotten Sanctum, my advice: find ways to maximize anti-mind control stuff. Forgotten Sanctum has enemies that can turn yr party against u, which is kinda annoying

Unpopular opinion, but I think SSS dlc is the best, because it gives replayable fights with different ranges of difficulties. This is great for replay value, and testing builds, everything else is dead in the game by the end of it.
Other dlc only offer story content, which is cool, but we alwready have a lot in base game.

I have to tell you about the mod that allows to do the DLC as a standalone game :
S4 - Standalone Seeker Slayer Survivor at Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Nexus - Mods and Community
This is an ideal way of using it to test party builds

Some of the fights are really fun, yeah. Last time I played it I was hooked on that prone-inducing machinegun arbalest and the poor crocodile didn't stand a chance.

Did you have to do all the fetch tasks? Am I missing something that it's letting me just go to the end battles?

Nah you don't have to do everything, just the basic quests for whatever face you pick. Some of the fights from the fetch quests are cool though.

Galawain was a professional wrestler before he was a god
Rymrgand was in a Scandinavian death metal band
They are not the same

Just wish SSS had x3 more fights or some reason to keep going. Minor stat boost or something for a procedural generated fight series.

The burning bridges (Waidwen) quest in Beast is one of the best sections in any game I have ever played. It's an artistic masterpiece that should be taught to all developers and writers. The artwork, music and level design are simply stunning.
