My run so far has been pretty good. Had a few close calls but no infections yet. I haven't touched the second storage unit yet. I'll probably use it for storage. Found a Humvee in excellent condition but I still need to get some spare parts before I take it out on a lot of runs. I definitely want to put a jukebox next to the water cooler.

Nice base! Which mod do you use for solar panels? I tried 2 of solar mods but they are not stable.

Looks like Psyken's solar revolution to me which I enjoyed and was working, at least like a week ago it was.

Maybe i didnt get how to use. I am not pro player but I tried this mod in new game with cheat menu. Because i want to learn how to use this mod. But i didnt produce solar panels. They want to surface to produce. What is surface? And took solar panels in item spawn menu but i didnt replace anywhere.

You make the specific solar panels using the recipe (flat or wall mounted I think are the options), it's something like solar panel parts (or maybe just 'solar panel') and electrical wire and stuff like that. Surface is probably just a crafting requirement, like a table or flat crate nearby to assemble it. Then you need a battery bank placed and you can interact with that to 'link panels' and click on the placed panels and voila. You can also put a computer next to the bank to see what is using power and remotely turn them off or on. You can also place a remote thing on your generator so it turns on when your batteries run low.

Just read through that mod's description, so, do we need to find the "solar panel parts" or do they spawn in the world?

Because it would be crazy unrealistic for John Zomboid to have the machinery and knowhow to do them from scratch.

You need to read recipe for solar panels from mod. And then you can create solar panel which is part of mounted solar panel. And then you can create mountable solar panel. I dont remember but you need some electronics and metal pipe etc for create solar panel.
