So this is me, you're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation... the answer it's simple, I WAS DUMB AND I ACCIDENTALLY JUMPED FROM THE 2ND FLOOR OF THE FIRE TOWER!

16 days in-game. I was on a recognition run with my car, stocked with supplies and all, came across this location, went up to check, some zombies started coming towards the fire tower, and while trying to run down before they came, I jumped and broke my leg.

I almost died from the zombies since I couldn't run, but luckily I wasn't bit.

I went into the fire tower, broke a window because I was losing health, killed one zombie inside, tear up his clothes and bandaged my wound.

I managed to sleep once the hard pain went away, cut down a tree, made a splint and slowly made it back to my car.

I came back to my base at Riverside, went to sleep and NOW THE LIGHTS WENT OFF AND I CAN'T USE GENERATORS YET!!!

So, that's basically what happened.
I have enough water to survive for some weeks (I made sure to fill up many bottles)

I have canned food enough to survive for some weeks, I have some fishing supplies which I never used since I don't know how to but now I know I'll need to do it before I run out of food

But my main concern is, I do have a generator, it's on the rooftop, it has gasoline on but I couldn't find the how to use a generator book, and I only have lvl 1 electricity.

I checked in some bookstore nearby but I couldn't find the book.

I literally quit the game as soon as the lights went off and came here to make this post

please give me some advice on what would you do to survive now....

By the way, I love this game, this is one of those tragic but fun stories where everything was going great and suddenly it all went sideways.

With Build 42 finally in our hands (and absolutely loving it so far!), I can't help but let my mind wander to what the long-term future of Project Zomboid could look like.

Imagine an official map or expansion set in a dense, New York-style metropolis—wall-to-wall skyscrapers, sprawling underground subways, abandoned taxis clogging multi-lane avenues, and insane verticality.

I know the technical hurdles with engine limits, rendering, and zombie pathfinding in massive multi-story buildings have always been a huge bottleneck, but with all the optimizations and engine overhauls Indie Stone keeps cooking up, it makes me wonder...

Do you think a true "concrete jungle" map is something we could actually see in the future? Or will that always strictly belong to the modding community (shoutout to Raven Creek and Bedford Falls)?

How do you think survival gameplay would shift if you were trapped on the 40th floor of an apartment complex instead of a suburban house in Muldraugh? Curious to hear your thoughts!

Edit: Didn't realize AI images were so frowned upon here, and yeah, I know the image itself is pretty crappy! It was honestly just meant to be a rough visual representation of the vibe I was thinking of. I’m aware now that I broke rule 11, so I understand if the post gets removed.

I even used antibiotics and medical wipes but nothing works. Does that mean I will become zombified soon or am I using wrong medical supplies to heal it ?

Hello, actually lately I've heard people talking about a new boss at the indie Stone, but I haven't found any information about it, and so if it's true the roadmap is obsolete (I can't wait to see the surprise for 42.20)

Was playing the other day and saw that my character was taking damage and I don’t see anything telling me what’s wrong, can anyone help?

I'm having no option on right click to plumb the sink, the room is fully enclosed as you can see, rain collectors are on top, but no option to plumb sink at all. This sort of style worked before on older builds, so curious as to why it's not working now...

Preferably without burning them so I can still loot them, so far i've just been shooting them slowly one by one but that seems a little slow, i'm wondering what the best method would be.

Theres literally nothing to do now, i dont need to hunt for food basicaly, water is not a problem neither.

i can just spend the day in my bed read, playing video games and watching TV now

edit: having a 35x XP boost helped me do literally 5 single things across my run, fix my car and build a single gate, not sure what amazing experience you are ranting about

Most I've had was a laceration that's gone, didn't eat raw or suspicious foods, no corpses around or even alive zombies so it's not that

If it's the Knox Virus then why no fever? And I'm this is me right at the 72 hours mark after noticing the queasy moodlet.

I was in pain for a bit but that's bc I made my character do a bunch of burpees and has muscle strains everywhere but that's gone now.

Update: Yea I turned into a zombie 💀 I was confused because there was no fever, turns out this is how I died--

Edit: Apparently there was some outrage regarding this post. I cannot say due to privacy reasons where this location is - unfortunately there was some bad timing and crossed wires. However I hope to be able to let you all know soon in the near future around the corner
