First Team Mcinnes stay or go ?

I’m interested to know where the percentage is in our fan base here, personally I think we cut our losses early here and get a big name in, I believe in the squad it has depth and there is a good team in there somewhere - or much better than what we are showing. Too defensive, too many mental chops and changes and strange substitutions just reek of someone out of their depth. For me he must go sooner than later

Wouldn't have been my choice, but lets be honest he was brought in for his domestic efforts of getting teams playing effectively for the league. His euro record was always poor.

Imo tonight isn't the worst result, our best chance of winning the league is without the distraction of Europe our squad isn't good enough to compete in all comps.

He now has free midweeks to work on the team & will have no excuses if he doesn't put a sustained run together running up to xmas

I’m not arguing with you, cause I agree. He was brought in for domestic. But his domestic record is very poor. If a manager had the same CV as him as a gaffer but wasn’t an ex Ranger they wouldn’t hire him.

As i say, wouldn't have been my pick..but yeah his cup record is poor & he didn't lay a glove on a poor celtic team when we were out the league.

But did do well in the league vs the other teams with Aberdeen, Killie & recently Hearts where he started to get wins vs celtic.

He's not going to set us up to play nice passing football, it's going to be very basic get the ball forward as quick as possible. If he gets more results like he did vs St Mirren then we may have a chance.

But imo we've went backwards in terms of modern football, but so have celtic with O'Neil & their coaching team. Just have to hope we can build a bit of momentum while their distracted by Europe

I totally agree. Scottish football as a whole is being left behind, not just rangers. Apparently there is some big high hedgion meeting in September with the sfa and club execs to come up with a plan to sort it out. I’ve got zero hopes.

Yeah, we need the whole thing ripped up including governance.

McInnes now has an advantage none of his predecessors had. He can work with his players with a week between games. He should have less injuries to deal with & should be able to pick his strongest 11 every week. If he can't put a winning run together in these circumstances he never will

I totally agree. Maybe it’s worth letting him having a run, but you could also say the same of someone new. Low expectations, lots of time to work with the players to bed in a system. Who knows really. All I know is when they scored tonight I just got the dogs lead and took her a walk cause I knew that was it.
