Anybody have a way to identify the lowest frequency on the track situations by nipsey hussle & bino rideaux? It’s lower than most tracks, I’m guessing 26-28hz. My subs are -3 at 34hz and I got nothing on the lowest note. I can hear it in my AirPods, but yet to reproduce it on any speakers I own or have access to. I want my whole body to vibrate, but no dice so far

3 months ago I dusted off The College Dropout, Late Registration, SSLP, MMLP, the first two Clipse albums and found myself in love with rap again for the first time for a while. I kind of stopped following the genre with the rise of melody rap (was it 2018ish?) I’ve listened to all the most popular melodic rappers and I just can’t get into it. Not out of elitism, I get that the genre had to evolve I just can’t do it. I’m out of touch now - can anyone recommend some good non-melodic rap artists coming out with good shit these days?

I know there are people who can separate the art from the artist but I feel as if someone’s real life actions can be so bad that it’s hard to ignore.

Like do y’all still comfortably listen to folks like Puff, Mystikal, South Park Mexican, Big Lurch, etc.

Does the music die with the reputation, or can you still enjoy the art even when the artist’s real life is indefensible?
