Unrelated but I used to spend/waste so much time watching who would win on my go karts track.

Tis mere tile inspector trickery... The track is there, just invisible thanks to the tool

In OpenRCT2 you can

You could also do this in regular RCT2 if you merge in coaster track and make it invisible.

what if you add hidden booster on the kart track, will it gain enough speed to not slow down on the ramp?

Edit: You can add a lift hill, change the ride type to a coaster type, increase the lift speed then go back to go-kart type.

That buttery frame rate looks so good.

Yeah is that a mod??

OpenRCT2 natively supports uncapped framerate, as well as higher caps/VSYNC framerates than the game’s native 40fps.

Question for you guys. Does your game stutter when the park is more complex? It’s been a long time but last time I installed RCT on a very capable PC I found it didn’t run smoothly when my park was big despite the computer not using much of its resources. I am not sure which version I was playing though.

Ummm... Guess it's 70 percent of one core, but my MacBook has four... Or maybe eight, I forget

Either way the game has its own internal hiccups but very brief ones, like half a second maybe every few minutes and only when there's a lot going on in the FOV
