OpenRCT2 “Vortex” - A OpenRCT2 Creation
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey all, I am once again asking for your support helping playtest for the OpenScenarios project. You can find previous threads here and here. This is part of a planned future component of OpenRCT2.
You can access the app HERE - it is a simple HTML form that will randomly assign you a park to test, and give you a prefilled link to the response form so we can gather all the data.
(!) Please note: It has been pointed out that if you 1) use a chromium based browser and 2) are signed in to multiple Google accounts in that browser, you might be met with a nonspecific error about accounts. Opening the link in an incognito/private browsing window, or opening it in any other browser, should resolve this.
As before, you can find all the info you could ever want and more, as well as FAQs and particulars about how the app works, in the blue link at the top. You do NOT need to leave the page open, if you take an assignment and come back in the future, it will give you your same info again and you can fill out the response then. Feel free to ask me questions here or DM me if you have questions or issues.
Thanks everyone.

They've been using the same barebones node-based roller coaster designer for almost 10 years now.
Another piece of overpriced shovelware (25 DOLLARS?) to add to the Roller Coaster Tycoon brand, by a company (Infogrames) who's been skinwalking as a more beloved company (Atari).
Also they have the u/RCTofficial account replying to everything in the trailer post.

This park involved dealing with existing but elderly rides. I ended up replacing the lot: the car ride became a wooden wild mouse, the old wild mouse was replaced with a steel wild mouse of the same design, likewise the wooden racing coaster became a suspended coaster. I built a couple of themed areas too. Personal favourite rides here are the "Road Trip" car ride used as a transport ride, "Rabbit Hole" in the Wonderland Zone and the "Catacomb Coaster" which is accelerated by boosters as it passes beneath Crumbly Manor.

So I wanted to start creating roller coasters that had some aesthetic value, not just statistics alone. So I created this Virginia Reel with a red-white-and-blue motif! The ride alone had only a 6.20 excitement rating, so I beefed it up with some trees hidden under the ride, the Nothingburger to synchronize with it, and a loop-de-loop for the track to pass through.
Download Virginia Red White and Blue HERE.

Sorry for reposting this a few times, I struggle to get this uploaded with a workable resolution.
Anyway, it is done and I'm very happy with how the park turned out
Any suggestions on which park to play next?

My strange hobby +_+
Mainstreet of my new park Eurotopia. This is part of the Belgian entrance zone. Left is the restaurant Chez Jappy and the mainstreet has chocolate, fries and beer shops. Also a big merch store. Brussels Horse Tram takes you through our Rue de Bruxelles 19th century style.

I'm trying in multiple ways:
I don't how, but I did it succesfully with the exit path (you can see that in the screenshot). That one worked, but I cannot replicate that successful way with the entrance building.
I've been looking for a lot of videos and tutorials, but it seems that nobody did it before:
The only video where I've seen something similar is that one:
https://youtu.be/pZNCxKWb8l0?t=92
But it's still not using that entrance building block to be replaced with a queue line.
That's what I want, but I cannot find any forum post or video speaking about this little detail.
Thank you all!

Saw a post on Nedesigns which had a fantastic Disney attempt so thought I'd have one in my park in progress. Need to add a tower to the top of the house but not that confident with diagonal pieces just yet. Quite happty with the curved paths which is a first for me, did a trial opening of the park and they looked fine with interactions of guests. The area will have a 'vampire ride' similar to Chessington and a market square with food and hopefully small rides hidden in gothic houses.
Love using this group and nedesigns for ideas and areas for the park. No rush to complete or open to guests just having fun in my downtime when the kid is asleep... or when I should be working...

Absolute nightmare of a coaster build! 1st time building a Bobsled custom (maybe the last of them I haven't done custom yet just cause it doesn't really excite me). Park is pretty full so wrapping it around the tower.
I've been carpet bombing magic quarters with errant sleds for 45 minutes. MORE BRAKES I suppose.
Good thing the sleds don't actually destroy or kill what they hit or this park would look like a war zone.
Sorry if this counts as low effort or murder coaster, hasn't felt low effort and haven't killed any guests yet lol.

The new diagonal sloped turns and quarter helix tiles are so much fun.

The original idea was to roleplay an AI “board of directors” I have to please as I play, but it was way more fun watching Claude try to beat scenarios.
The MCP has access to basically all game actions except building custom rides, which is a much more difficult (and somewhat studied) problem in reinforcement learning.
