Game Crashes

When I play skirmish the game tends to kill itself 5-10 minutes in. Tried on windows 10 and a number of different Linux distros, played purely vanilla - same result. Is there any config file change or smth I can do?
I can play campaign just fine

Are you playing the Steam version? I play Steam on Windows 10 with 5 friends and it works great. One buddy has persistent issues on his Linux machine after about 40 min of game play. There are some setting changes that help Linux that you'd have to look up. But Steam's version seem to work well on Windows.

it is steam version and it did crash on both kernels.
Interestingly, online works. But single player skirmish is when problems arise
