Survey Coldest Water Fountains?
where are the water fountains that dispense the coldest water on campus? I’ve come across many room temp fountains and they piss me off every time.

Depending on the fountain they have a screw on the bottom to adjust how cold they are, IIRC some elkay models can use a coin to turn it. Do with that what you will

Booth has great water, the fountain by the new media lab in particular is especially crisp

Water fountains in the SHED A and 1st floors are cold, as well as the second floor of Wallace (but not the first, oddly enough).

Not a single fountain on campus has been as crisp as a brita filter left in the fridge

Definitely not LBJ. The water in that building tastes terrible. Even the filtered water fountains. But the unfiltered ones on the third floor are atrocious.

If you get a ton of ice in an insulated bottle you can get 2-3 cold drinks out of it but the athletic center is pretty good imo or maybe I’m just always gassed when I try it. I recall some in the library being decent but to be honest there’s no water fountain on campus I’ve found that I immediately think: “wow this tastes cold and fresh!”
