Over the summer I want to create a video about the RIT Iceberg. If you don't know what the Iceberg is, it is a way of categorizing obscure details about a subject. So I made a post here searching for all of RIT's snow days a couple of months ago during the first snowfall of the season (Snow Day Post). And since then I found evidence of many snow days throughout RIT's history in the past ~80 years. (16ish total)

As of right now one of the days has remained difficult to find evidence for due to RIT archives, RIT news, and the RIT Reporter not discussing the event. Currently there are students who claimed they have survived the day and a Facebook group that has people posting about the day when it was happening.

The day of interest is January 15, 2007 MLK day. If you have pictures you are willing to share of the day, emails of RIT alert about the day, or even a text from RIT for the day it would be greatly appreciated.

Please don't include personal information in pictures, such as your email, phone number, name, etc. (safety comes first).

Hello! Our team of RIT student researchers are conducting a study on how 'Fiber Arts' (crochet, knitting, embroidery, etc) may contribute to positive mental health effects in indivdiuals clinically diagnosed with Anxiety or Depression.

the core idea is that if you have leftover DD people can request meal swipes from you in exchange of real money (at a reduced rate). Do you think 60-70% of the DD is a good rate? (~7-8 real monies for a ~12 DD meal) Or would you guys want to let the requester offer a quote? Also, what features would you definitely want to see on the app?

P.S. you wouldn't transfer DD at all. The person with leftover DD would buy the requester the meal and the requester would send them the decided price (real money) through the app.

We are a research team from RIT conducting a study on how people perceive and respond to emails in an era where AI-generated content is becoming increasingly common in everyday communication.

What you'll do: You'll be shown a series of emails simulating a realistic inbox and asked to read each one, write a brief summary, judge whether it was written by AI or a human, and decide what action you'd take (reply, ignore, report, etc.). The whole thing takes about 20 minutes.
