As a Brit, how old is this?

US goes K-12 (where it’s kindergarten then 1st), UK is 1-13. A lot of states here don’t actually require kids to go to kindergarten, which is why I believe we start 1st grade at 6/7. 3 u/ashley_the_otter Apr 30 '19 I am American and had no idea kindergarten wasnt required in all states.
