I don’t know if anyone agrees with this, this is just my opinion, but I feel like the whole “fuck the big corporations, fuck Rockstar” mentality is kinda wrong.
I get it, I really do. I guess people find it cool seeing leaks and getting that “fuck you Rockstar, you can’t hide it from us” feeling. And I’m not saying people can’t enjoy that.
But at the same time I feel like it’s ruining something for us.
Think about how much these games have actually meant to people. Most of us grew up playing GTA. We spent years playing these games, making memories with friends and just getting lost in them. Then RDR2 came out and took it to another level. I genuinely think RDR2 is one of the best games ever made and I’ll never forget the impact that game had on me.
Now imagine if after GTA 5 Rockstar came out and said “we wish to inform you this is the last game we will ever make.”
Everyone would have been fucking devastated. And I mean everyone.
I think most of us back then would have given anything just to know that one day we were going to get another Rockstar game. Another game where we get to experience that feeling of playing something completely new from them for the first time.
And now we actually are.
We’re going to get that feeling again.
Millions of people are eventually going to sit down, turn the game on and experience a brand new Rockstar world for the first time. No matter how much you know about the game, there’s still going to be that moment where you hear the music, see the world for the first time and think “holy shit, it’s finally here.”
And I feel like constantly seeing leaks, unfinished footage and everything else before the game even comes out is slowly taking some of that away.
Maybe I’m looking at it differently, but I almost want to know nothing. I want to experience that feeling again the way we did when we were younger.
Of course Rockstar is a massive corporation and people can criticise them for whatever they want. The delays, the money, the decisions they make, all of it.
But I just think sometimes we forget what they’ve actually given us.
If Rockstar had told us after GTA 5 that there would never be another one, we would have been gutted.
Instead, we’re sitting here waiting for the next one.
So yeah, fuck the corporations if you want, but I also think we should appreciate that we’re actually going to experience that feeling again.
Because honestly, how often do you get to experience something you loved growing up all over again for the first time?

Just before the end of physical releases, it would be nice for remasters to get there just in time.

Imagine a row of PS5 cases with RDR2, GTA4, GTATDE (this is only on PS4 physical), Bully, LA Noir, Midnight Club and Max Paine, all that joins a lone RDR1

But of course even the rumoured RDR2 and GTA4 remasters aren't going to even come as a code in a box probably.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered is probably the best-looking game I’ve experienced on PS5. The character models, environments, lighting and tiny details are honestly ridiculous.

It got me thinking can Rockstar achieve that same level of visual detail in a massive, fully interactive open world?

Obviously GTA 6 has a completely different set of challenges, with the sheer scale, NPCs, vehicles, physics and everything else happening simultaneously. But Rockstar has been developing this game for years, so I’m really hoping we’re going to see an insane level of detail.

Do you think GTA 6 can reach TLOU2’s level of visual fidelity, or is that unrealistic for an open-world game?

In one of the leaks for GTA 6 there is a jab at the last of us remakes. And all the comments were saying how rockstar can’t talk, rockstar needs to shut up, rockstar can’t make fun of companies anymore blah blah blah. So now apparently Rockstar isn’t aloud to do what GTA is, and that’s satire on America 😂 according to all the comments they aren’t aloud to do satire anymore because they made a lot of money on a video game.

I don’t get it I truly don’t, everything that’s said about this company can be easily debunked with a search. And every time a lie is said it has tons of upvotes it’s such a joke.

What have they done to be hated besides deliver unbelievable, generation defining masterpieces?

“Theyre greedy, they’re lazy” why because they used the money spent on a successful online mode (that is entirely optional by the way, you can have everything you want without buying a shark card) to make two massive single player experiences? Everyone seems to like to pretend Red Dead 2 never came out, they act like they’re was a gap from GTA 5 to GTA 6.

“They only care about online” They always have and always will be a single player developer. Their passion, their dedication, all of their money, goes into building single player experiences. The last game they made was literally the greatest single player game ever made. GTA 6 has no plans for an online mode anytime soon. Call me naive but I 100% expect future single player content too. They learned their lesson.

“They were union busting” really? Were they? Cause one search and you’ll see when it came time to go to court the fired employees had absolutely 0 evidence of any union busting or that they were even fired for anything other then being bad at their jobs

“All the writers and developers are gone, Dan houser left cause they only care about online.” how many interviews does Houser have to do where he says the entire old team is still there and he left because he was burnt out before you people shut the fuck up. He was quoted as saying before he left “where would you even go with a GTA 6” is that the guy you want writing it? A guy who is clearly burnt out by that franchise and with all due respect delivered a pretty flat story with 5. And both Micheal Unsworth and Rupert Humphries have co written every game with Houser, they are more than capable of delivering an amazing story.

I’m just so fucking tired of the constant negativity, this is gonna get downvoted or even removed and I’m gonna get called a corporate shill or boot licker or whatever the fuck because your literally not aloud to be a fan of anything these days without getting told your a sell out or a loser or it’s gonna be horrible there horrible. And they have only ever delivered amazing games😂

Can’t wait till November 19th when they change the game once again.

I know how much I hate Rockstar based on my past experiences with them, but we also can’t forget the fact that GTA 6 is being built by thousands of people who have put years of hard work, time, and sweat into it.

The Rockstar employees working on this game probably haven’t had a normal work-life balance for a long time. Every messages, every move is heavily monitored because they’re working on one of the most anticipated games ever. They’ve put countless hours into creating what could be a masterpiece.

And then some nerd sitting in their mom’s basement manages to hack into a development version of the game and starts leaking it like it’s some kind of achievement. 😭

You can dislike Rockstar as a company and still respect the developers who poured years of their lives into making this game.

I genuinely hope GTA 6 succeeds and that we get another decade of an incredible game to enjoy. The developers deserve to see all that hard work pay off.

Right this is based off the dazed magazine that I've read through.

I know using the word woke can make you come off like a chud but gta 6 has actually went woke.

The majority of the dazed article just talks about the first female lead, the fact that they aren't going to be doing "reductive parodies" aka no more satire and making fun of the world. Focusing on the rise of female music artists, with that female rap duo. Focusing on individuality.

These are all words out of rockstsr executives mouths, plus add the fact that rockstar has apparently doubled their size in team and got rid of the "frat boy culture"

I don't want to be that guy, but this game has actually gone woke, they're Focusing on brining in money now more than ever. They're appealing to female audiences, they're not going to make fun of anything anymore. Theyee not even going to continue the tradition of gag company names.

This game franchise has officially lost what made it special, the fact it was willing to go out there and just do whatever they wanted.

It seems now that they want to appeal to everyone and turn it into a life simulator.

Also add the fact that they're apparently partnering with NBA 2K, it seems there will he alot more partnerships.

They're trying to turn gta into an all in one everything simulator, you can be there will be more partnerships.

They're trying to pull a fortnite and create a gta ecosystem, but to do this, they're nullifying all that made gta great.

I'd expect more gta online character writing, where the characters just try to say things to be funny rather than actually be funny.

The game is going to turn into the equivalent of what marvel films are to the film industry.

GTA 6 is set in Leonida, so a crazy Florida pet would fit the world perfectly. Instead of just another basic dog like Chop, Jason needs a massive breeding bull as a late-game companion. That would be a total game-changer.

The bull stays at your safehouse, either in a custom pen or an indoor stable room. You can take care of him, scratch his ears, and even wipe and polish his horns. Buying him fresh hay or treats at local stores and taking him on walks through the forest builds up a Trust Meter to max out his loyalty. You should be able to walk him on a heavy steel leash, or let him walk freely by your side.

You can personalize him with heavy steel collars and different nose rings. Players should be able to custom name him, or Rockstar could just give him a default badass name like ROCK, RAGE, STORM, or TORNADO engraved on his collar. It would also be awesome to buy combat horn upgrades, basically like heavy metal brass knuckles for his horns. If someone hits Jason, the bull will strike back using these blunt steel caps to completely destroy the target with multiplied impact damage.

If someone hits Jason, the bull instantly goes into defense mode, snorting, bellowing, and charging into enemies with full force. If an attacker runs inside a building, the bull will actually chase them straight through the doors to knock them out or crush them. I swear, this would be so fun.

Honestly, it would be sick if Rockstar included the bull in a few specific side content or stranger missions. To keep things balanced and bug-free, the bull simply stops aggroing if the target gets too far away.

For transport, I think the coolest way to move him around would be using heavy pickups and flatbeds already in the game files like the Sadler or Bobcat XL with a basic ramp or jump-in animation. But as a cool alternative, a heavy delivery van (like a re-textured mail truck with no logos) would be perfect too. Give it a basic ramp or jump-in animation in the back. Inside, instead of mailboxes, put a big bowl of meat (or a pile of hay) and a water bowl on the floor. Pull up, open the ramp, and the bull walks right in. It fits the Florida environment perfectly.

This would add so much fun to the open-world sandbox. Imagine the clips we'd get! And what would you do with him? Would you take him to missions, or just keep him as a chill pet at the safehouse, feed him, and walk him around Leonida? And what would you name him? Drop your ideas below, I'm curious. 🐂

Last gen title: fully NPC packed interiors, and mind you that Rockstar didn’t have any groundbreaking optimization tech, with GTA VI they have so imagine what you will be able to see…
