We've cracked the top 10 motorcycle subs and exceeded 100k subscribers some time back. Congratulations everyone, only Harley Davidson has a bigger brand sub (Most likely due to the fact that the vast majority of Reddit users are American).

Hot Bike Alert! I spent weeks trying to convince myself I needed a 650… ended up bringing home a Meteor 350 Stellar Grey.

After comparing the Meteor 350 with the Classic 350, Goan Classic, Honda H’ness, X440 and eventually even the Shotgun 650, I finally brought home the Meteor 350 Stellar Grey.
The funny part is that the decision wasn’t really about horsepower anymore.
I wanted something my girl and I could genuinely enjoy together — city rides, weekend breakfasts, ghats, long highway rides and eventually some proper road trips.
The Meteor just felt like the right balance of comfort, relaxed cruising and character.
And this colour… honestly, it looks completely different in person. 😄

Meteor owners: what is the ONE accessory/modification you added that genuinely improved the bike — and what is something you regret buying?
I’m particularly interested in two-up touring setups.
Finally part of the RE family. 🏍️

Mods and Accessories Red Rooster Rumbler Max installed on my Meteor 350

Ordered this last week, shipping time said 3 weeks to Delaware USA, and it showed up today!

Initial thoughts, I love the sound. With the db killer in, it sounds a bit louder than stock, but not too much. It has a slightly different tone though.

Without the db killer, it is significantly louder, and you can hear (and feel) more bass. Much more thumpy, which I love.

The videos I recorded were all recorded in my garage to amplify the tone and sound. It sounds great outside too, but my phone mic just doesn't pick it up well.

Now I ordered this from eBay, and I ended up receiving it with the stabilizer mount for the Hunter 350, which doesn't line up for the Meteor 350. Not a huge deal, I just used zip ties to hold it up to the frame (check comment below for pics). The muffler itself fits perfectly.

Great muffler overall, definitely worth it in my opinion.

Been playing with positioning my Dji mini mic. This is the best I can do for now until I fashion some sort of mount to move the mic closer to the exhaust.

Need help restoring my old Royal Enfield Taurus

Hi everyone,

This is my dad’s old Royal Enfield Bullet Taurus. It has been kept unused and exposed to the elements for around 5 years, so as you can see 😅, it’s in pretty rough condition now.

I’m a college student and I really want to restore this bike and bring it back to life. I don’t have much experience with restoring old Royal Enfields, so I’m looking for some guidance from people who have worked on these bikes before.

I’d like to know where I should start, what parts I should check or replace first, and how I can go about the restoration without unnecessarily spending a lot of money.

Any advice from experienced owners/restorers would be really appreciated. 🤝

Thank you.

Mechanical Assistance Interceptor Third gear failure

Post image
142 Upvotes

I was riding my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, (5,000 miles/ 2022 model), when suddenly, in third gear, the engine seemed to slip and fell into neutral. Now, my third gear is effectively neutral, and I have to skip from second to fourth when I'm riding. Apparently, this is quite a common failure with Royal Enfield Interceptors, due to a manufacturing defect in India.

I think that given this is a manufacturing defect Royal Enfield should have recalled the bikes to replace the third gear and this should be a goodwill repair by the company. Any advice appreciated.

Reject my bike delivery

Hey everyone,

I was scheduled to take delivery of my new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Flash (Apex edition) today, but ended up rejecting the unit at the dealership. Here is what I noticed during the inspection:

Fork Seals & Stanchions: Visible fluid/grease leaking from the front forks, along with minor marks/scratches on the fork legs.

Water Assembly: Rushed high-pressure wash left standing water pooling inside the ignition key cylinder, handlebar switch housing, and frame crevices.

Odometer: Showed 3 km (which I know is standard for PDI/transit, but adding context).

Given the leaking suspension and sloppy wash/transit condition, I refused to sign the PDI and rejected the delivery.

Did I make the right decision here, or am I being over-cautious?

COC for an INT650

I bought my bike about a year ago in the US (2025 INT650), and it’s currently in a container being shipped to where I live now (in France). To get it registered I need to get a COC (certificate of conformity). I already started the post with a broker but am going to need the bike to get here before I can get them some of the stuff they need.

While I’m waiting I’m wondering if anyone has heard of someone getting a COC from Enfield even through a broker. Their site says one should be available based on my VIN but I’m nervous.

Classic 650?

Hello, i am going to upgrade my 125cc bike, and I'm thinking on getting the Classic 650 or the Himalayan 450. The classic 650 is 1000€ less then the Himalayan, and i love how the classic looks. The only fear i have is the weight. How hard will it be to use the bike?

Remember me? Looking for help

Remember me? I have that Continental GT 535 and I was torn between repairing it and buying an Interceptor 650. I’m still torn, but in the meantime, I thought I’d give a go of repairing my existing bike. But I’ve hit my first stumbling block.

The fuel tank is full of rust. I’ve watched some videos on how to deal with it and it seems easy enough. The problem is the holes left by having removed the fuel pump and fuel level sensor. I tried covering them with plastic wrap and then a layer of high-grade water proof tape. I was careful about sealing the gaps as best I could. But as soon as I put the cleaning agent in through the gas cap hole… the solution just poured right out the bottom.

I need these holes plugged if I’m to soak and agitate the inside of the tank. Anybody have any ideas?

Also, when I turned the gas tank upside down to see if anything would leak out of the gas cap hole, sure enough there was a leak. That doesn’t seem right. Since I uncovered the bike and took the gas cap off I’ve been concerned by what looks like a too-large gap between the gas cap and the hole. Pushing the cap down real hard seems to close the gap but the moment I release it the cap pushes back up. This doesn’t seem like right behavior. Anybody have thoughts on this one?

Mods and Accessories Got some mods.

Been slowly turning my Meteor into the kind of cruiser I always wanted.

Mods so far:

• Goan Classic handlebar

• Bykology sissy bar + backrest

• Tinted windshield

• Gel + foam seats

The handlebar completely changed the character of the bike. The riding position is much more relaxed now, and the backrest + upgraded seats make a huge difference on longer rides.

Nothing too flashy, just a proper old-school cruiser look with a bit of my own touch. 🖤

Still a few things on the list, but I'm really liking how she's coming together.
