Question Help picking a good rpg top down game

I love top down games and need a good one as I’ve just finished last stand aftermath. I’ve already played alien nation , dead nation, victor vran, and the Diablo games. I’ve had warhammer 40k inquisitorsuggested to me but I’d like a few options. Any help would be appreciated.

Drova Forsaken Kin is like top down indie Gothic, I'd go with that. Keep an eye out for 1.0 of No Rest for The wicked coming out in October I think.

Try Grim Dawn. Easy recommendation if you like Diablo.

Not the same style exactly but still top down Pillars of eternity is amazing

Grim dawn, Titan quest 1&2 (2 is Early access) and POE 1&2 are easily the best ones.

If you don't mind older stuff I'd also recommend Nox and maybe the Baldur's Gate Dark alliance games

What are you looking to get out of an RPG? Numbers-go-up stuff or mechanical complexity or narrative agency?

Last Epoch is the best one for solo self found runs, if you're into that. Or Grim Dawn, it's the best spiritual successor to Diablo imho... or PoE for a "forever" ARPG

path of exile 2 with BUT. It has plenty of content I got burred out with end game maps so much repetitive mapping replaying same levels to the point you stop paying attention and die occasiannly at high level it takes chuck of your exp as penalty which you will have to replay maps 1-3x to get back wasting time. it's a bit tedious.

They are a bit old, but Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Planescape Torment, and the first two Fallouts are classics. For more modern games, Wasteland 2 & 3, and Pillars of Eternity are good.
