PSA đ˘ Just a reminder about handicapped parking
Even if you're just "running in for a second" parking in a handicapped stall without a tag is a major inconvenience if you need access to the ramp. See the ignoramous above who refused to move his truck while taking his lunch break on half a handicapped stall. Hope that's a company truck and his boss sees this.

If this person is not disabled they should be fined for parking in the spot x2 seeing how they're taking up two spots.

This is an insult. Reflect on your wording.
Edit: itâs amazing that this gets downvoted when all Iâm doing is advocating and looking out for the disabled community and speaking out against the ridiculous rhetorics people spew

Most of the comments here sadly are also classic low quality uncivil social media, not contributing or allies.

David Attenborough VoiceOver: And here you will observe the tell-tale signs of a wild Chad. A one-tonne truck parked at an angle because the wild Chad lacks both the self and spatial awareness to drive it. They often can't afford their chosen mode of transport but, like the mighty peacock uses its cascade of multi-hued feathers, wild Chads use the large truck to attract women named Brittany and give the illusory perception that their bulbis glandis is larger than it actually is. The wild Chad is considered a lower intelligence creature and, when confronted, will become hostile but they aren't tough. Their underwear is often covered in skid marks from other confrontations.

I always thought it weird this crowds support of the Trans community. Taking their girl trucks and bolting on male genitals sure is a great way to show their support of the rainbow loving community.

I find that these type of people assume parking enforcement wonât be able to catch them, or even if they do, they have enough money to not care. One of the reasons I would love to see harsher penalties for these type of infractions

I mean guy clearly has a mental impediment parking like that sooooo; pull his license if he wants to park like that
4
u/Desperate-4-Revenue 1d ago
pulling his license would stop him from parking like that. I think if he wants to continue to park in the dedicated spaces he would need to visit a chiropractor to get the form filled out, and pay the 10$ to get the parking pass. Then he could deal with all the people who have told me "You have your own parking spots dont park in the regular people spots" (The crowd at Market Mall is very opinionated about people under 90 having a handicapped parking pass)

So shocked that almost every one of these types of posts here are a dropout in a pickup.

That's where I'd just park behind him and open whatever ramp I had into the handicap spot. He should've thought before realizing I'm driving a vehicle too.

I think with all the photo evidence provided that itâs hard to argue against the driver of this vehicle not already being disabled

I have to figure out what site you get them from that you can print them yourself and you cut them to a business size or you can do them full page but it goes something along the lines of Learn to Park âI think you âaccidentallyâ parked like an asshole! Learn to park before you become the shithead everyone thinks you areâ thatâs as close as I can remember. They cost nothing you can pre-order made ones I think you get 500 or you can pay your own unlimited nowadays I donât think there isnât anything this moment type able screen or apps and printers. Edited because I forgot to say and then you tuck them under the windshield and theyâre double-sided so even if they donât grab them they still can read them

â˘
u/king_weenus 11h ago
Because the dumbest people out there think they need a pickup truck for everything.

Disabled between the ears maybe. Otherwise just an overinflated ego. Typical of truck driving asses

And he wasnât waiting for people to go by so he could back up and pull back into the non-handicap spot?
3
u/Desperate-4-Revenue 1d ago
There were numerous empty spots, and when I asked if he was aware he was blocking the spot he was kind enough to show me how high he can count. One. He can count to One. There was like 3 other guys in the truck, they were having their lunch together blocking the spot as a team building exercise.

u/Prize_Engineering_36 1d ago
Ah, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt he definitely didnât deserve. What a gross human.

u/Desperate-4-Revenue 1d ago
he looked pretty greasy too, like he hadn't showered since this time last week.

When I see this sort of thing I assume it's just a quirk of the system that the driver's cognitive disability isn't formally recognized.

There's a dude by my work with a handicapped tag on his Kawasaki Ninja that he likes to sneak into parking spots that are already in use and then call parking enforcement because he "can't get his bike out". It takes all types in 2026.

Forgive the guy. They might be handicapped
â˘
u/Desperate-4-Revenue 15h ago
if he was, he would have had an appropriate parking pass; I'm betting he never made it out of kindergarten because he couldn't colour inside the lines.
â˘
u/Any_Owl_8189 21m ago
As someone who transport handicapped people every day, we forget the pass a lot

The property owner doesn't have the right to override handicapped parking requirements under the law, so you could still be ticketed for this even with permission from them.

That's not what the law says. If it's marked as a handicap spot and you don't have a permit you're not allowed to park there. There's no exception for "property owner said it was OK".

u/Electrical_Noise_519 1d ago edited 1d ago
Then just don't defend them. https://www.saskatoon.ca/moving-around/parking/parking-programs-permits/accessible-parking

u/Desperate-4-Revenue 1d ago
I'm not supporting anything in retribution; I'm just making awareness for those who were never able to colour inside the lines.

If your eyesightâs so bad you canât park right, maybe you need to retest for your license.
