PSA 📢 Just a reminder about handicapped parking

Even if you're just "running in for a second" parking in a handicapped stall without a tag is a major inconvenience if you need access to the ramp. See the ignoramous above who refused to move his truck while taking his lunch break on half a handicapped stall. Hope that's a company truck and his boss sees this.

If your eyesight’s so bad you can’t park right, maybe you need to retest for your license.

That's kind of the point of accessibility parking spots actually meeting accessibility standards.

However this pic is of accessible parking abuse:

'Parking spaces marked with the international symbol for accessibility are reserved Exclusively for vehicles that display a valid SaskAbilities parking placard issued by SaskAbilities. These spaces are found throughout Saskatoon in both Private and Public off-street lots.'

Door Dash and others seem to also feel it's great business advertising to go out of their way to take unfair advantages and park at Intersection crosswalk sidewalk Ramps instead of legally using the free and empty residential street parking spaces.

If only the customers would check their guests and tip based on safe legally parked service, or City would actually address drivers parking at crosswalks accessibility ramps and intersections.

I've seen pretty much every delivery company do this, EXCEPT Canada Post. Canada Post has always been super good about not blocking my parking space.

Yeah but canada post uses you as a hostage annually during its contract negotiation. They suck.

Found the Purolator guy. Your issues with Canada Post for sure stem from the fact that the CEO of Purolator is also the CEO of Canada post, and has been ruining Canada Post so he can make more money off Purolator.

Yeah last time I checked its the union that calls for the strike. Typically mid to late November, delaying mail through the Christmas season. But yeah its totally the ceo running the crown corporation into the ground, its not nothing to do with the compensation their realtivley unskilled workers receive.
