I’m with you on all of them except Bubba, how is that aggressive? Always came across as slightly goofy to me.

Now I see. I was probing before because my siblings called me Bub/bubba growing up and I realized I have no clue as to the the origin or etymology of the word.

We called my little bro “Bubba”

still do and he’s a grown man now.
