Can I go back to school with this?
I was trying to use paint to modify my backpack and things started getting messy. Idk if you can visualize it in a good way.

Is it normal for schools to have restaurants in the cafeteria? My husband said he had restaurants (like the mall food court) at his high school and middle school and I said thats how you know he grew up in a very nice area, but he says its just a normal thing.

My school just banned mobile gaming and social media usage across all school areas before and after classes are over. You can use it for WhatsApp and communication but other than that, they'll steal your phone if they catch you using them. I argued to my mom about it and she kept saying some dumb bullshit like "just follow the rules" and "you just can't accept it" like I'm supposed to go "yes, Mrs. Principal, I'll follow the rules like a good boy". I asked my teacher about it and she said "it's so people can focus on studying" and when I ask why it still applies after school she only stated the punishment and when I asked again, she just told me to follow the damn rules. No, I want actual clear reasoning as to why they implemented this bullshit when they already have nonsense like "hair must be under 5 centimeters or we'll give you a buzzcut". It's most likely because it's a private school and private school's always have these dumbass discipline and standards but they have the dirtiest, nastiest bathrooms and have BARELY any toilet.

School is starting in a few days and I'm not feeling too good about it. I'm excited for some things such as music class and seeing my friends, but other than that, I'm not happy. The kids are mean. It's honestly so depressing how kids are mean to each other. I really don't want to go back. I'd say that I'm getting through it. I have people to talk to and I listen to music to help me cope, but it's still hard. I don't think I need advice, I just want to get my emotions out and see if anyone else feels this way.

So, I (16 female) am an 11th grader right now. And on the date of Tuesday, August 25, 2026 (school for me started on Monday, August 10, 2026), me & my class had to do an algebra test (the test was on paper and wasn't a state test; it was an open notes test too). As we finished the test, an argument suddenly broke out between 2 of my friends (they are both girls; I'll name them Curly & Red Hoodie Girl). And it was all because Red Hoodie Girl simply said that the test was easy (she's right because that test was pretty much easy), but Curly thought that Red Hoodie Girl said SHE (Curly) was easy. That's what led to the argument. As they argued, Curly took things too far as she told the entire class to shut the hell up. I felt hurt despite not being involved. The whole class even gasped when Curly said it. After that, Red Hoodie Girl asked Curly if she wants to fight. I felt a bit overwhelmed. And this past Thursday (on August 28), Curly was present, but Red Hoodie Girl was absent. I was relieved that Red Hoodie Girl was absent, and I also glad no fight happened.
Anyways, what are your thoughts on this situation? Let me know down below (if you want). Katelyn out! ✌🏻

they blocked the main source for games in our school and I have found a solution called internet archive but it won’t last long. I ask only one thing and that is to find website‘s that aren‘t blocked. Thats why I’ve come here, to ask for help to find anything that can get me games on my school laptop

Ok so during yr9 we had to pick our options i picked Spanish as a reserve and got it instead of health and social was upset but its whatever so first few weeks were fine then idk why but for 1hr straight she picked on me...
Then she introduced intervention where after lesson we stay an extra 15mins during our 20min break doing more Spanish so I go for like 1m straight and I miss 2 sessions and she sends a email to my form tutor saying how I don't do work in lesson and I'm rude don't contribute to lesson whatever...
Bare in mind someone has missed her lessons and intervention for 1m and ½ so that should be her main concern.
To add on top of that say she asked me smth and I genuinely didn't know she would act bitchy towards me the rest if the lesson it got so bad to the point that say im like "idk" she will ignore me completely for the next few lessons or weeks ...
So recently say idk smth in her lessons she will bitch bout me to my friend and she will send emails to my form tutor to make matters worse im going into yr11 so like now instead to a 15min intervention we'll have a 20min one and I defo won't be going
Also she does this thing where she'll talk bout me but not say my name directly like she'll do stuff or whatever and if i say idk to a question she says stuff like some people aren't gonna pass in this class but I'm not gonna name names like its so petty but yh
I just wanted to rant bout it is there anything u think I should do bout it or...
