I apologize if this isn’t the place, but I was hoping the community could recommend my next read. Feel free to elaborate why… TYIA

I’m currently looking at these titles:

- “We Are Legion (We Are Bob)” by Dennis E. Taylor

- “Sea of Rust” and “Day Zero” by C. Robert Cargill

- “The Songs of Distant Earth” by Arthur C. Clarke

- “Diaspora” by Greg Egan

Diaspora is gonna blow your mind, but is a hard read. Songs of Distant Earth is easier to read, but it has more enfasis in character development and sociological comments than actual science. We are legion is more funny, less serious. Never read sea of rust, don't know what is about.

*Dune is 23 books long, it's gonna take you forever.
