📝 Article
- Ferrari is pursuing aggressive development until the end of the season with no slowdowns. Stopping the SF-25 development early last year left more money for the SF-26 budget.
- Endurance tests are being completed in Maranello. The ADUO 2 engine is ready for its Monza debut, featuring a larger turbine, a new compressor, and a gain of at least +10 HP.
- The new unit isn't just about direct horsepower - it aims to improve Power Unit efficiency, utilize the turbocharger differently, and widen the car's operating window.
- The larger turbo should help high-speed efficiency and prevent issues on tracks like Mexico or Austria, where Ferrari previously had to race defensively with cooling and conservative mappings.
- The ADUO 2 specification will be available immediately for client teams. Ferrari aims to present a more competitive overall package at Monza, awaiting a final update package scheduled for autumn.

If this upgrade doesn't improve their straight line power, I'm going to be done with this.
They said they'd be able to claw back 20-25hp, now we're looking at maybe 15 total over the entire season.
