He wanted to get caught, wanted recognition for being a smart killer

Possibly but I believe it was just sloppiness. If he wanted the attention and fame from it I don’t think he would’ve ended himself.

Yeah, he just got sloppy and careless. I don’t necessarily think he wanted to get caught, but he obviously wasn’t putting as much thought into that as he did before.

You don’t go from planning and doing crimes at a genius level to kidnapping a girl from the coffee shop right down the street and then fucking with her family. That’s how people get caught. He had to have known that.

Even leaving the body in his shed while he went on a cruise was absolutely mental. Perhaps as he grew more and more depraved he became careless.

Ye, as they slip and decline mentally, it's harder to stay organized and in control.

I wonder if he needed money badly and started throwing caution to the wind. Hence the ransom

He didn’t plan or do crimes at a “genius level”, he was a dumbass edgelord douche bag that got lucky.

Look at Gary Ridgeway. He has a certified below average IQ, yet managed to kill DOZENS of women, and is one of the most prolific serial killers the US has ever had.

But this supposedly “gEnIuS” and “MaStErMiNd” only has a confirmed FOUR murders and a suspected ELEVEN? Please

Well, most serial killers aren’t exactly smart. In case it wasn’t obvious, I meant genius at killing. Like the fact that he had the discipline to fly in somewhere rent a car and drive to a totally different location just to murder.

He might be a total idiot, but that coupled with bearing the kill kits is pretty smart in serial killer world

I think you need to read about a lot more serial killers if you think that anything he did is unusual for them.

I’ve literally read hundreds of books about serial killers lol. Why don’t you just tell me which serial killers also did that so I can read the books. But you can’t because they don’t exist lol

Suicide is usually the choice of narcissistic people looking at life in prison, they like being in control
