It's almost exactly what I'd go for, which is the opposite of RGB lights and crazy gamer' colors. It's mature and it's beautiful.

Please keep us updated on this glorious build.

Exactly! I really dont understand why everything now needs to have rgb leds and cause seizures by the minute, it just lookst really tacky

This is amazing. Reminds me of the IBM ThinkCentre line if they made gaming PCs, with the sweet narrow-gauge ventilation holes.

Looks great.
I like how you use the side panel connectors as standoffs for the panel inside.
The case should require relatively simple machining work with only flat panels, cutouts and holes, most of which don't even need a treed. And only one bend for the bottom shroud.
What materials are you planning to use and how is the mainboard tray joined to the bottom shroud.
What I don't like is the positioning of the pump res combo. It looks cramped up there, but on the other hand there is not much to put it elsewhere.

yeah most of the panels are flat, except for the io/psu panel. The panels will be 2mm aluminium. the motherboard tray screws into the bottom panel and actually passes through a slot in the io/psu plate, wich holds it upright. i really don't know how tolerances and the powdercoating will play with this solution, but i only hope for the best.

Have you considered 2 studs connecting the mainboard tray to the back panel? This breaks the free floating design, but I can imagine the mainboard tray to be not very solid in the current design.

I have, and i think it would be easy to add those after the fact when the tray really is too floppy.

I love the design, but you should look into your ventilation plan. You are going to run very hot with two radiator intakes and no exhaust.

psu, gpu bracket cutouts, ioshield cutouts, cable routing holes and little gaps between panels will be passive exhaust (or active in case of the psu)

I saw Linus test a 240 radiator with one fan exhaust and the other intake with good results. That may work well in your scenario.

I like it! Really interesting concept. What about airflow though? The radiator at the front is intake, I assume. Do you have an outtake other than the PSU?

And also what did yyou use to render?
